It provides ample examples, but doesn't tell you how to add weldment profiles to the library. It also doesn't show you how to add to any other library; minor, but it would have made the book complete.

Missing steps and gray scale
The guy who compiled this book should lose all of his certifications. It's kind of crap. Not only does the gray scale printing make it difficult to decipher what is going on, but there are about a dozen models that are missing steps. I you have another option to learn SolidWorks' more advanced features, take that instead of this POS book.

An out-of-date version
I downloaded the preview and it seems identical to the 2014 version which I have. Save money and get the 2014 version used. The 2014 has missing steps as well but you'll be able to figure it out.
