Favorite heat tape!

(UPDATE, It's barely sticky enough for heat gun repair, it does give off a very unpleasant smell/fumes,..it still works just wish it had a little more Adhesive I'm afraid it's gonna blow off. It Barely hold when you're using a hot air gun to de sodder....)..It Burns but it won't melt even with a lighter underneath it so I think it's gonna help Make sure I don't knock off or melt other components off the board when soldering with the heat gun. At first I thought I was scammed... But I held a letter under it for about 40 seconds and won't melt It holds up to its claim. I honestly don't have any doubt It won't hold its purpose. If I have any issues soldering with a heat gun I will update. All I need it to do is deflect the heat and hold the other parts in place if they happen to get too hot. There's no reason that this shouldn't work. I'm extremely impressed.

The only tape I use during sublimation projects

It’s good tape however the pictures are misleading. This is not the wide tape, this is the skinny rolls! Will work for what I need, will just have to use more than normal. Lesson learned:)

Best tape I've found for sublimation

Use these for my sublimination business and haven't had a problem. Easy quality to put on and peel off. No smell or residue when taking off or used. Easy to stick.

If you're buying kapton tape you probably know what its for so I will skip that gibber gabber. Instead I will say, unlike many other cheap brands on Amazon that sell Kapton tape this stuff is quality. The tape is clean, well made, stronger then many other brands I've tried and above all it had absolutely no contaminants on it. No dust, No dirt, No Grease and No Grime. Why is that so special? Well the last three other brands I tried I kid you not had everything from eyelashes from manufacturing stuck to the tape, to dust, rocks, metal shavings that were not only electrically conductive and would have fried my electronics they were also sharp. This stuff had none of that crap. TLDR; Good, Thin Strips of Kapton!
