A must have for larger layouts
Easy setup and front panel switches plus Auto reversing X 2 are all pluses in my book. Digitrax is a great company with very well thought out products. It is a "Booster" not a power supply! I have to admit this threw me at first. So I ended up buying an appropriate power supply to power this and then hooked it up to my track. The front panel has three "Loconet" jacks and the over all size of the unit is very compact. Making it easy to add to expanding systems without having to move everything around. Note: using high power and large loads can cause the unit to heat up! A big heat sink is used so with a fan (extreme cases) there would never be a problem!
