dont stick your finger in it
Just big enough for Cat6 cables but allows you to pull hard and not have to worry about damage. Did not need to tape anything but it was a little difficult getting it back out of the puller

Grips well
I tried it on Romex and metal clad cables and grips both well.

Good price for a great item.
If you pull wire residential or commercial this will save you time! It's like a finger cuff that tightens the harder you pull. Tape it up and pull. Then just unwrap the tape and pull out your wires. We used to call these kellems.

Handy little accessory
Sometimes ya just need that extra grip to pull it through. Made a long cable pull much easier than it might have been

A handy device much simpler than electrician’s tape and much cleaner (no tape residue). Very quick to use.

Piece of junk
While pulling wire through 1-1/4 conduit, the cage broke off from the pivot. Could not pull the wire back. Luckily I knew how much wire was in the conduit (40'). I had to cut the conduit to continue. I'm surprised that Southwire put their name on such a cheap product.

Has stood up so far. 100lbs rating will be getting tested for sure

The product is good! I ordered too small! 1/2” where 1 1/2” would be better.

It’s really hard to pull this around tight bends but for any straight pulling it works like a charm.

Doesn't grip the cable as tightly as I would like. I use electrical tape to secure it so that it doesn't come off in the middle of a pull. This is a replacement for one that caught on an obstruction and got lost inside a ceiling...
