Had a grease fire start in my kitchen, grabbed this from the cabinet and laid it over the fire. The fire was out immediately. Without this I would have had no way to put out this fire and would have lost my house. Insurance companies should send these as part of a home insurance policy.

It's simple and we spent some time reviewing its use. Except for the outdoor grill, there are no fires that would easily lead to a direct event of flames being where they shouldn't. Still, that is why such events are called accidents (being unplanned and unscheduled -- I recall a discussion with a guy who burned his home down to the ground by upsetting the outdoor grill as a five-year-old, having the fiery brickettes land against the side of the house.) Hopefully never, but perhaps I will one day update this with a tale of how, having the foresight of purchasing this blanket, disaster was averted.

Came across this when I was searching for fire extinguishers and thought what a great idea for the kitchen!! My toaster oven had fire Sparks the other day. I happen to be standing right there when it occurred so nothing got out of hand Thank you Jesus 🙏🏼Received mine today and it is exactly as described. This is one of those items that you can't speak for how well it performs until you have to use it but you hope you never have to use it.....I also purchased a fire extinguisher to keep under the sink. And a fire extinguisher for my truck because you never know. And definitely purchased a new toaster oven!!!!!!For any of you campers out there..This fire blanket would be a great idea!I can't remember if this was a lightning deal purchase but it was only $13.00.Although I can't say if this will put out a kitchen fire but it definitely puts my mind at ease. Definitely worth the purchase!

The media could not be loaded. This fire blanket seems to be of good quality. I haven’t had to use it though. I once had a bacon grease fire and I used my extinguisher. The whole house had had a white film on it. I got this in case it happened again, it won’t be so messy to put it out . I’ve included a picture and video. I hope this was helpful.

It’s hard to tell how many stars to give this product because I haven’t used it on a fire. If I’m wrong I’m wrong…I’m going to assume that this is a five star product because it’s here. When I found this there wasn’t anything else like it here. It seems like a really good idea and could work better than the spray powder stuff in some instances. I really hope I don’t have to use it actually. I do definitely feel better about having this available. If I can’t find the extinguisher or it runs out or something.

To be exactly as order. Thankfully I have not had to use it yet and hopefully never will!
