TheFitLife Resistance Bands Set with Handles, Door Anchor & Ankle Straps

I have Rheumatoid Arthritis and although I have been a member of a local gym, my health and often where I’m staying preclude me from having a consistent routine. Cue these resistance bands, which I am determined will be used - and regularly - to assist me in my aim of developing and retaining the muscle strength I need for stability and to prevent falls. Often the handgrips on equipment cause me great discomfort, rather than the effort I am making and so these are beyond my expectations. I can clasp firmly because of their diameter and consistency and concentrate on the movement and my form, rather than the pain caused by the grips. I’m sure this will be of benefit to everyone, not just those with physical health issue. The product looks first rate, well manufactured and compact.

The assortment of resistances—from 'Gentle Persuasion' to 'Absolute Blighter'—means you can start your journey with the faint twang of the yellow one and work your way up to the black one, which appears to be made from the same material as lorry tyres and seems to actively resent being stretched. The handles are sturdy, the door anchor surprisingly philosophical about its sole purpose in life, and the entire kit has a cheerful, un-intimidating vibe. Using them is a satisfyingly quiet rebellion against entropy. No loud clangs, no complicated machinery—just you, a band, and a silent pact to slightly annoy a specific muscle group. They work. Oh, they work. You'll discover muscles you forgot you had, all from the comfort of your own living room, while still within nodding distance of the biscuit tin. It's fitness for people who find gyms loud and judgmental. Five stars. My biceps are confused but politely impressed, and I've yet to launch myself through a window, which is always a bonus.

The resistance bands themselves are fine. I found the door anchor tricky to use as my standard bedroom doors didn’t have a wide enough gap to fit the handle through. The ankle straps are comfortable.

Was sceptical at first as I’ve heard mixed reviews about how good this type of exercise equipment would be. Actually had them in my basket for about 3 months before giving in and ordering. I haven’t been to the gym since the first lockdown shut them down. I have since found it hard at home with standard dumbbells to do a full range of workouts and found I was doing the same exercises over and over. Bought these and started with a few tricep workouts. Fair play it was the first time since the gym that I had a good solid workout using muscles that I hadn’t used for a while. I’m not in awesome shape and not a gym fanatic by any stretch of the imagination but enjoy keeping fit and staying in decent shape and these are definitely helping by mixing up the workout routine. I have found that instead of using dumbbells or EZ curl bars etc that I have to add an extra 5 reps per set but that is definitely not an issue at all when you can feel like you’ve had a good workout. One thing I was surprised about was the quality for the price. Cracking bit of kit. Easy to use. Easy to clip on. Good quality material. Plus the amount of workouts you can actually do with these is impressive. If, like myself, you enjoy casually working out and don’t fancy going to the gym with everything how it is at the moment, then I would highly recommend getting these and would be surprised if you weren’t as happy with them as I have been.

Saved me through covid. Only now I review them as I found them in my gym back. Basically looking as new even if I used them daily for months. You just to take good care and clean them if you use them outside. Decent. Different colours for different resistance, accessories good, good value for money.

These resistance bands are great and can be used for many different exercises. They come with some suggested exercises but you can find better examples online. They're good and strong and come in a variety of resistance strengths, to make greater strengths you can use two together although for some exercises that could be awkward. There's also an anchor you can jam into a door to act as a high anchor for e.g. chest flue. This depends on the door hinges being screwed in firmly - I felt uncomfortable using a high resistance for this. Overall these are great alternative to dumbbells. Update after using them for 18 months regularly. They don't last that long. Most of my original set have snapped now, despite being stored as required, and I bought a second set to replace the bands as they break. It looks like I'll need to buy a new set every 2 years.

J'ai commandé ce produit pour suivre des cours de sport à la maison (hits) et je suis satisfaite du produit. Je les accroche dans mon step à l'aide des Mousquetons fournis. On peut aussi les accrocher dans la porte. Les élastiques ont l'air vraiment solide. Très satisfaite. Petit sac de transport pratique.
