The TAKAVU car cleaning tool worked great on my windows and windshield. I used it as soon as I received it. It got all the dirt and grime off my windows. Loved it!!

Outgassing.So, the plastics and adhesives used in making your car, in addition so some other things you may have in your car, can outgas. These chemical gasses can be released as a function of interior heating, or sometimes just due to age. It will generally deposit on the surfaces of you car, including the windshield (they're everywhere, but the glass in the car makes it more visible to you).While there are solvents that can clean up the film left behind by outgassing, I don't see the point in treating one problem with another. That's where the TAKAVU Windshield Window Cleaner Tool with 3 Washable Reusable Microfiber Bonnets, comes in. I've had a similar device in the past, proudly proclaiming to be "as seen on TV".... w00t. The TAKAVU, on the other hand, seems a bit more robust - with a handle made (at least partially) out of aluminum. You can twist the handle to loosen the friction lock, telescope it, and twist again to lock. The microfiber bonnets fit ok, but they will definitely be the first thing to fall apart.In use, the TAKAVU articulates well enough to get down some pretty steeply raked windshields. It also works well on windshields with high cowls and goofy A-pillars. The points of articulation are made of plastic, so you need to use some care, but it seems decently durable. There's no reason, with reasonable treatment, that this cleaner won't last for a decade. I recommend using distilled water with the cleaner, as that's all you need. After all, it's the mechanical interface of the microfiber and the film that scrubs it off. The one tip I have is to machine wash the microfiber bonnets in a mesh bag, and let them air dry. As far as cleaning goes, I can't imagine one device having a significant advantage over another, but this one seems to work fine for me. Recommended

I got this because I’m tired when you do the inside of your windshield after washing your car it’s a pain to try to get the corners and it’s awkward and I want to break the windshield now it’s a got device because it hits every corner every Grove it’s so easy to apply Windex or any clean material on the glass. This wiped it clean you feel so much better, and you really noticed at night time how much clearer the windchill is a good buy for the buck !

The mop head works just fine for my cabinets, etc. which is what I bought it for; however, the handle will not lock into place, so as you are wiping down or scrubbing the cabinets etc. it will suddenly slip down and shorten. There really needs to be a better mechanism for keeping it locked into the extended position.

Advise: go over it once dry with clean bonnets, next wet bonnets. See you tube

It does what it says. It makes cleaning car windows and much easier and faster job. Especially the back window in my car. Because of the rear seat headrests and the slope of the window it's real pain to clean. This cleaning handle can get right in there. I wish the handle was a bit longer but other then that it works fine.

la tela de la almohadillas son realmente malas, es muy delgada la tela y no absorbe el liquido limpiador fácilmente, cuando se extiende todo el bastón no tiene un seguro , así que si le pones presión en el mango, se afloja y se vuelve a contraer, realmente no me ayudo para nada a limpiar los vidrios de las ventanas.No lo recomiendo !

Je l'utilise pour le pare-brise et la vitre arrière dans ma voiture.L'angle du pare-brise étant trop long, il m'est difficile de l'atteindre mais avec ce bidule, vraiment formidable!

Compact so I can leave it in the car. Extends when I want to use it. Great for removing that film that collects on inside of windshields especially down low where it’s hard to get by hand.
