Lisle 35260 Plastic Fastener Remover

Makes it much easier to remove the inner fender plastic fasteners, compact gets into tight spaces, good grip.

I have a lot of clip removers, but this is my favorite. Great, usable shape and tip. The rubber ball often prevents damage. This is better than the Snap-on equivalent, and cheaper.

This is a nice tool to have for getting plastic apart.

Found the chrome version to be better than the black finish. Black finish is not a black oxide coating you'd normally see on hardware or tools, it looks painted. This seems to give it a thicker edge to the wedge you use to pry the clips. The chrome version is not a fancy tool, kind of cheap looking chrome plating and manufacturing marks on the tool itself, the handle is nothing fancy. Doesn't matter for an infrequently used tool but if I were a mechanic using this for more than occasional DIY use I would look elsewhere.

Lisle 35260 Plastic Fastener Remover This fastener puller has come in handy so many times since I purchased it has more than paid for itself in the lack of effort needed. Using this thing requires some thought but only because each item I pull is a bit different. I am fairly certain others have noted the ends are a bit thick so getting it under plastic clips is a bit of a challenge. That said, I used plastic pry tools before and they were nowhere near as effective. This tool has a nice plastic handle which is sized so it can be gripped to apply force. It has a small bend which allows for leverage and there is a small rubber ring which you can move that allows for a variety of fulcrum points. I recommend this if you do any car work. Everything has a million clips now and without this tool you will probably be so frustrated and definitely will need to purchase new clips because they are easily destroyed. It also works on other things but be aware of metal to any sufarce can cause sratches. Put something like a cloth behind it if you are on a painted or plastic surface. Believe me. Best tool I own

It does the job of removing my plastic fasteners. I can't ask too much more. Great tool to have when you need it and throw it back in the toolbox when you're done
