MedlineCommode Liner with Absorbent Pad, 12 Count

Was so glad to find these again. Lately, all I've been able to buy to line hubby's commode are the liners with powder inside. Those don't do nearly as good a job. These with sponge inside absorb much, much better, & also absorb odor much better. Will never go back to powder if I can help it at all.

Good product for dealing both with smell and with cleanup. BUT please do fix the packaging. The 12 liners/pads are on a roll CONNECTED to each other, and they are hard to pull apart. I have watched my able-bodied assistants struggle (the tear strips don't come apart easily), and for me it is just about impossible. A real downer, considering I want to be as independent as possible. Also, the way the pads are placed inside the liners, they are apt to fall out onto the floor and since I can no longer pick things up off the floor, this is also a problem. PLEASE FIX these issues and change the configuration of how they are packaged. Then you would have not only a "good" product but a "great" product.

After trying several options, we began using these in the bedside commode. They fit well and work well - which is all that you can ask. I'd give them ten stars if they would dispose of themselves, but no such luck. :PI was purchasing these locally for significantly more, and just noticed they were available here on Amazon as an add on item for a lot less than I was paying for them here, so I have added them to my cart to go out with my next order.All I can say is that no one ever told me I would need to learn nursing or I would have taken the classes in school and at least got paid for it!These make the difficult more possible

With a very elderly person in the home, getting to the bathroom at night can be a challenge. The bedside commode resolves that. Having these liners, with a drawstring like a trash bag, makes commode clean up simple. There is a pad liner for each bag so there isn't so much of a chance for leakage or spilling with this very absorbent pad . The plastic makeup of the bag itself also prevents leakage.

Provides and easy clean up for the bedside commode. The pad absorbs the liquid and the smell. These are no better or worse than others, certainly not worth paying anything extra. I do change them after two uses and have found adding just a bit of cat liter adds to the reduction in odor.

I have no problems with the liner in term of quality and fit. It lost a star because it is a little difficult to pull strings to tie up. I just brings sides together and tie it myself, no problem and yes I would buy it again.

Thankful we discovered these. Just wish the absorbent liner was attached to the bag. I use double sided tape and adhere the liners to each bag when I first open the box. Makes the daily routine smoother.
