TEC 582 has become one of my go-to quick ceramic sprays. The application is extremely easy—spray, wipe, flip the towel, and it levels out with almost zero effort. No streaking issues as long as the surface isn’t overly hot. Performance: The gloss it leaves behind is impressive, giving the paint a freshly detailed, “just waxed” look in minutes. The slickness is immediately noticeable—water beads and sheets off like a much more expensive coating. It also works great as a drying aid without gumming up towels. Versatility: Safe on paint, glass, trim, wheels—pretty much the whole exterior. It adds a nice boost to existing coatings or sealants and works just fine on its own for maintenance protection. Durability: For a spray-on product, the longevity is solid. You can expect several weeks to a couple months depending on weather and wash habits. Value: For the results you get—shine, slickness, hydrophobic behavior—it’s hard to beat at this price point. Overall: Easy to use, great gloss, and strong hydrophobics. Yup, you can relax, you finally found the one. Forget about all those others with the bad reviews, throw away all your old stuff. This stuff is the cat’s meow, wow! The reviews will verify that, guaranteed if you read through all of them no one can find anything repeatedly wrong with this stuff. You can use it on practically anything. Perfect to polish the dusty car. Spray it on, wipe it clean, easy peasy. Great for older cars to make them look new again. Newer cars look showroom, I use it on my 2024 Audi which I shelled out for the lifetime ceramic on, and boy does this stuff make it pop! I researched other reviewers, and I’ve heard no complaints anywhere that risk a ceramic coating and in fact are probably helpful in preserving. I have a 2018 Lexus and I use it in between washes, keeps it shiny and “waxy”, real slippery to the touch. Goes on easy and wipes off easy. If you use this stuff once or twice a month you would never have to wax your car. Also Great for wheels. From cheap plastic wheels all the way up to top of the line custom paint jobs, it’s very gentle and NEVER leaves any residue or haze as long as you wipe it clean as far as I can tell. When I sprayed my engine and tires with some cg’s black on black worked great to clean up the edges of my paint and wheels that got the tire spray on them, that stuff leaves a horrible residue and I’ve heard can damage paint. I’ve heard it works great to detail the interior, I’ve had minimal use using it there but from what I’ve seen it’s just as good. You could use it on chrome plastic trim not sure about leather. It smells amazing! 😍 I used it on all my golf clubs, oh man do the driver, woods, and putter shine!! You easily could use it on motorcycles, boats, jetskies…it just makes everything look new again and so easy to wipe on and off. Stuff is just incredible because, have I mentioned it, it’s universal! The only thing I don’t use it for is tires and glass (sprayway foam from Amazon is my go to for glass). Tires is a different can of worms, we’ll leave that discussion for another day. So glad I did my research and found this diamond before settling on some other inferior brand that was cheaper or more advertised. Buy the 1 gallon bottle, split it up into smaller sprayers. I use some of my old spray bottles from armorall or mothers after washing them out and they work great, or there’s some real nice spray bottles at Lowe’s for $4 if you’re rich... In summary, this is my new go to and I just haven’t found any weaknesses as long as you wipe it clean. If you’re looking for a product like this, get this one you won’t regret it!

Bought it as a topper and I’m suitably impressed. Spray it on and wipes off super fast and easy. Leaves a very slick and glass like shine. Love the beads, very hydrophobic. Last a good while before having to reapply. Side note, I use it on my painted wheels as well to give them that extra pop of shine and protection and I’m never disappointed. Makes it a lot easier to get the brake dust off in between washes. I HIGHLY recommend for hobbyist detailers like myself.

This stuff works incredibly well i highly recommend it water beads off great it makes the vehicle shine. very easy to apply and its an incredible deal for only $29 for a big bottle too that will last a long time

Seen a lot of recommendations on social media for this product so I gave it a try. Overall not bad for the Price ! ( I got it on sale ) I’d say it last 2 weeks tops if you are driving every day. For the longest results definitely going to want to wash/decontaminate the paint before application. Feels pretty similar to the chemical guys banana wax.

I found this TEC582 ceramic detail spray on a few YouTube videos. My car is ceramic coated with Gyeon MOHS Q2 and rims are ceramic coated with Gyeon rim. I’ve tried the following products to maintain the coating after washes: Gyeon Q2M ceramic detailer, Meguiars hybrid ceramic detailer, turtle wax ceramic 3 in 1 detailer, turtle wax graphene flex. TEC582 is the easiest to apply and leaves the slickest, glossiest finish. I thought the other products looked similar but when I stand farther away like if I’m walking back to my car in a parking lot the car looks better with the TEC582 - glossier and more saturated. Also, I love that I am able to use TEC582 on glass. It makes it much easier to wipe down the car and does not streak in glass like with the other products which are not recommended for glass. I can’t speak to durability but I know that all the products do not retain the super slick feel to the paint after only one wash. They all keep their water repelling properties but will not feel as slick and smooth as when after initial application. Since I wipe my car down with a quick detailer after every wash and in between washes, durability isn’t something I worry about. Finally some people complain that TEC582 makes the car more susceptible to retaining dust and lint. I have not found that to be the case at all. If anything the car may be slightly less dusty compared to other products after driving around a few days. I also live in AZ which has lots of dust everywhere and the car stays relatively clean. I am definitely sticking w/ TEC582… unless something better comes around. *************** 2 month update…. OK after 2 months TEC582 continues to impress. I’ve washed the car once and the water sheets off better than with any of the other QDs I used before and the car still stays slick feeling after being washed and dried. It was noticeably easier to wash the car with this applied. Dirt and dust literally sheeted off with minimal fuss. I’ve now used this on my other two cars and getting the same amazing results all around. Can’t recommend this product enough.

From another review I went with 1:1 mix of this and water and I spray it just before drying (I do rinseless wash so I'm ready to go after wipe-cleaning, but if you use soap you rinse with water first), then I wipe-dry 1x 25% overlap with a plush microfiber towel, not thorough, just quick pick up of liquid while it also spreads/applies the TEC, followed by buff-dry with waffleweave towel. Still fairly quick, but definitely more of a buffing motion to prevent any streaking, especially on glass. Don't get me wrong though, TEC is very streak-free, just don't let it dry without buffing, otherwise you may need to redampen (not rewet, just damp) to buff streaks out. I could probably still reduce the amount of TEC with water since I feel better doing 1 spray every 2 feet, but that means more water to dry. Instructions say do full strength, but only 1 spray per panel, but I'm not that confident yet, and I'm going through this gallon very slowly, and at pretty reasonable price compared to the spray wax and gloss enhancers I used to use. With my usage, I think I get 1-2 full washes for every 1 ounce of TEC full strength on a compact car, and I'm pretty sure I'm still using more than I need, and with how slick TEC leaves the surface, dust comes off pretty easily and I end up able to go 3-4 weeks between washes and still have gloss, but I usually do 2-3 b/c it is relaxing. For my rinseless routine, TEC replaced a spray wax and buff step that was not as glossy and not as easy to put on (it was good for me at the time, but TEC blew me away). And, this beads water for a lot longer, and I can also feel a lot better glide on the car duster I use almost daily and before every wash. Better glide, I figure more dust gets swept off, more easily, and less chance for scratches. And better glide, maybe even more dust comes off just from driving and wind. Even more, the spray wax I used to use left enough wax to streak on the glass when I used my duster, so much I had to avoid dusting the glass, which meant more squeegee time or looking at dust. TEC can still leave some streaking (or maybe whatever collects on the duster does), but it is a lot less, so I can just treat glass and paint the same, especially side and rear windows where it is much less noticeable. I did try Turtle Wax hybrid a month before TEC, I think the Turtle Wax lasted a week or so longer, but TEC was way cheaper, and still lasts/glides 2-3 weeks on the roof and hood of my non-clayed 2010 car, and 5-6 weeks on the sides. It'd be nice to confirm for myself that these hybrid ceramic sealants last for months, but I don't plan on getting the work done to provide optimal conditions any time soon. One thing: I think I put squeaks in my wiper blades getting some TEC probably from overspray. I don't count that against TEC. Or maybe it's just the TEC applied normally to the windshield, even then I'd say that's more of a user/me issue, and I could give up using TEC on front glass if it was an issue and still be very satisfied.

This polish is expensive but worth every penny. Using very little diluted (about 10/1 water/polish) in a spay gun which you wipe off almost immediately with a micro fibre cloth you get great results. The paintwork on the car builds a water repellent coating straight away. After a number of washes this coating builds offering protection and shine. Expensive but worth the outlay. Remember less is more when applying this product.
