Nice upgrade for an old Ruger 10/22
Purchase these sights for my +30-year-old Ruger 10/22, whose rear sight got damaged. I wouldn't call installation "easy" but it was a straightforward. There are some good YouTube videos on how to replace the sights on a 10 22. Get a good punch set, and follow these videos, and you'll be fine. Getting the sites adjusted and zeroed in at the range was easy. And the fiber optics make the sights very easy to see.

Replacement 10/22 sights
The factory sights on a new 10/22 made me go crosseyed... These fiber optic sights are what should come on these rifles from the factory. Visibility feels like a modern semi auto pistol and sight acquisition is twice as fast. Installation was wasn't too tough if you have the right tools. Bench vise or c-clamps with assorted punches will get the job done. No need to file the dovetail or the sight itself, just a few nervous taps and it fit snug at center. I was concerned the long rear sight was going to interfere with the takedown feature of this rifle, but it cleared without issues.

Not the best quality
The rear sights were great but the front sights just broke out of nowhere

Winchester 69- A
Yes . . Cringe greedy collectors I put these sights on a classic Winchester . And they worked beautifully . And as others have noted the elevation screw is adjusted to bring the rear sight up pretty high off the barrel surface . But at fifty yards nearly sixty year old eyes were able to drill the center of a hand drawn bullseye the diameter of a nickel . They are super bright and once the set screws are snug the sights stay in place . You will need a very tiny screwdriver to adjust and seat the set screw . Great old guns belong in the great outdoors not sitting in a safe going to waste .

Great upgrade for Ruger 10/22
These upgraded sights for the Ruger 10/22 work very well. They're easy to install with the correct tools, a hammer and a brass drift (punch) will removed the factory sights, and using the same tools to install these sights. The rear sight has an anchor screw on the dovetail to secure the sight to the barrel, as we have had some of the dove tail slots machined in the barrel that are a bit on the loose side. That set screw makes sure that the sight won't move. These give efficient adjustment on the elevation (up and down) as well as well as the windage (left to right), there is another sight set that doesn't have the windage adjustment for less, these are a better option for a few dollars more.

Not for these tired old eyes.
Bought a Henry rifle that was missing its iron sights, bout these thinking they would work great. Well the fit was good, the sights seamed a high quality, the value was fair, they even looked good when I got them. The problem was, these are a low profile sight which does not work well with a lever action rifle unless you have rail mounted adaptor for dove tail sights. They are also hard to use, if you need wear glasses or have bifocals. They probably would have been great when I was 20, but at my age not a chance least not on a lever action rifle. I suspect they would be great on a bolt action rifle, especially if I had some kind of optics that would make them easier to see. But if I am going to go to that level, I’d just buy a dove tail delete and put a quality scope on and be done with it.

Very visible and easy to see
I have been using these sights for several months and enjoy how easy it is to pick them up in daylight. They are working well for the few outdoor matches that I participate in that require iron or fiber optic sights.

Great upgrade
I installed these on an old Lakefield 22lr bolt rifle. The rear sight was a breeze. The front took some fitting but nothing major, an Emory board would be enough. I eyeballed the alignment then fine tuned at the range. The front sight is set but the back can be adjusted for wind age and elevation via a couple set screws. It took me 3 groups to “sight in.” I like the 3 dot setup too, the contrast makes it easy to quickly level the sights on target. I set them to lollipop at 50yds so going out further is just a bit of milling. Significant improvement for a great price.
