The. Best. Coco. Available. Period.
HANDS DOWN the BEST COCO I've used!EVER.The last batch of coco coir that I ordered (it was super inexpensive, so I thought I'd give it a try as I was short on funds) came in tiny bricks, and actually had little pieces of plastic and trash in it. Ugh. (This was NOT that company.)This is the best growing medium I've found, and I've used a lot of different kinds of coco coir. TI've used the bagged stuff with perlite in it (FoxFarms and others, and fwiw, I've since found its better to just buy & mix your own in, if you need it!), the blocks and bricks, and so on.But... THIS has been the best I've ever found and used. Clean, fluffy, pure and top quality.DEFINITELY recommend!!!Thank you, for offering a great product for us growers! It certainly takes the pain out of all of the research, trial and error, once you've found the best!I'm sticking with this brand and this company, from here on out. No doubt about it.๐ฑ๐ฑ๐ฑ๐น๐น๐น๐๐๐

Great at absorbing cold water fast
Ive tried many brands over the years. These bricks suck up water like nobody's business. The coco coir is nearly instantly fluffy. Please note the dry/shipping weight is 64lbs. I found the title phrasing a bit misleading. It's still a great deal per block, so no need to mention weight with water. What if I add more water than someone else? I'm letting mine soak up all this rain. Will I get 72lbs in the end. So while that issue is cringy, the product is great in moisture absorption, retention, has a nice loose texture.

Works as expected.
Bought these as a replacement for a different brand and they worked, thankfully. Absorbed the water really well and relatively quickly, within about 30 minutes for an entire block. Mixed it in with my compost and spread it out over the soil on my beds and it held the moisture pretty good. Checked on it the next day and it was still holding strong. Definitely helped make the potting soil airier and lighter for my garlic and other root crops to get through, but held the water as well. Only downfall was that I only ordered 8 and needed more to try to plant more seedlings so when I went to purchase more (a few days later) the price had already increased by about $30-40 for the same item. That was disappointing.

Its a tad expensive. I think it should be about $5 or $6 cheaper.
It breaks up to fill almost 3 5 gallon buckets. It gives a pretty good contrast against my plants and seems to retain moisture pretty good.

Outstanding product.
This stuff never fails and fits nicely in the 6 Cell Heavy Duty Plug Tray Inserts from bootstrap farmer. the trick is to put them in the bottoms of the six packs, put the 6 packs in a tray that holds 72 cells and add water on the verge of boiling. They will swell up fast. let them cool and then plant seeds. I get great germination results. But be advised there is no nutrition so I either add liquid fertilizer drops once true leaves appear or up pot them.

These create space to mix with soil for plants to have nutrients to and soft space to grow.
Just know you have to work to get this to expand as advertised. It doesnโt happen quickly. Once I get the knack for that, I think these will be handy for repotting my houseplants or initial planting of my perennials.

Awesome
This is awesome stuff! I only bought 3 bricks because I wasn't sure of the product but I'll be buying more! I mixed with topsoil to make it go further. Would definitely recommend.
