I was hesitant to purchase because of a few negative reviews. However, I'm glad I did. The set is compact but there are enough rollers for my shoulder length hair. My goal in using is to create volume at the top and these rollers do just that. When testing it, the unit heated up in less than 2 minutes and the rollers were hot to the touch. I placed a few larger ones around the top and left them in for less than 5 minutes. My hair was bouncy and definitely looked thicker (I have fine hair). I'm not sure how the pins work that came with it because I purchased some additional clips to use instead. I had abandoned hot rollers a long time ago but it looks like I'll be using these a few times a week--it's that good.

Love this set. URLs my long hair nicely. I even purchased 5 smaller rollers later to heat up as I use the larger rollers on top and sides and the smaller for the lower part and front. A little too curly in the beginning but slowly relaxes throughout the day to nice, soft curls.

These are perfect! The size is great for travel (I never check bags); my hair is thick and coarse; these heat up fast and do the job so well! Every traveler should have a set of these.

This is a nice compact set of rollers and I was looking forward to using them. However, I have very fine hair and I couldn't get them to stay in my hair. I'm sure they would work well in thicker hair.

I was a little worried this would not work well but I needed a smaller roller set to travel my current one is too big. It heats up better than my larger set and my curls were beautiful. I thought the rollers would be too small to curl my longer hair, boy was I wrong. I think you will be pleasantly surprised at the performance of the set.

I have thin fine hair and these rollers are too heavy for my hair, they fall out even with the clips fastened to hold them in place. I tried using different clips and they just won't stay in my hair, I can't use them. They do heat fast and would probably work for someone who had thicker hair.

Great hot rollers! These are awesome and better than I expected. Compact forTravel and curl your hair quickly. I take the out before they cool to get a nice cure

Just received my Remington electric roller set. Easy to use, results are as expected - CURLS! I was careful handling the rollers as some reviewers made a point of mentioning it. I was a bit cautious heating up the rollers, considering it’s in a case with clear plastic cover, but nothing melted or got soft. I admit to being TOTALLY JEALOUS that a video showed a reviewer talking about her set that she’s had for 7 years - and she has a hot pink case! I would have given 5 stars if not for the fact there are 10 rollers (5 large, 5 medium) and 8 J -clips/4 large, 4 medium. Why??!!
