Surprisingly good drugstore primer!
I was surprised that this primer was white as opposed to clear. I generally use heavily silicone based primers because I have dry, aging skin and the silicone gives my face a dewy feel and a nice glow. This primer is like a lotion. It absorbs quickly leaving no trace of white on my face. It leaves my face feeling hydrated and not sticky or tacky at all. Makeup application is easier and smoother and my face looks fresh all day long when I use this primer first. I am actually a bit surprised at how much I like this drugstore primer since I am usually a Smashbox or Tarte primer fan and those primers are very pricey. This one is very good for lengthening cosmetic wear time and smoothing the skin. I don't know if it blurs fines lines and wrinkles but my almost 50 year old face looks great when I use it so it must be doing something right. I will repurchase when I run out. This primer has been the one I have been reaching for every time I wear makeup even though I have a variety of others I could use. Everyone's skin reacts differently to products and you may fin this primer doesn't do what you expect or want it to. For my dry skin that usually looks pale and wan by mid afternoon without good primer on, this one really helps to elongate cosmetic wear time as well as to hydrate and possibly blur fine lines a bit. For me, it's definitely worth the price and then some. EDIT: I just bought my second tube. I have been using this daily since I bought it.

Nice matte finish. Does what it says
It goes on like it's going to be oily, but once it sets (which takes about 6 secs), it isn't oily or shiny. My face has more of a matte finish. It did not change the color of my face even though the cream is white. I have dark skin, so many times white creams make my face look like a corpse, but this does not. As far as the staying power it does moderately well. Granted, I only put a thin, penny sized amount on my face (because I'm cheap) so it may not be enough. Even with that, I don't find that I rub or sweat off nearly as much makeup as I do without primer. I even like the look of wearing the primer with no makeup sometimes.

GREAT PRODUCT & GREAT PRICE!!!
This is a GREAT alternative to the $32 Smooth and Blur from Smashbox!! It leaves my skin feeling VERY soft and NOT oily!! Definitely worth the price and lasts for quite a while.

Best ever!
This primer is the best I've ever used. My skin looks so much better when I use it. My foundation goes on smoother and it allows for a nice finish.

Not Affective on T-Zone
I'm on a mission to stop using makeup products containing talc, due to the industry's lack of sufficient oversight over asbestos contamination. It's just not worth it to bring those products into my home around my family. I loved Rimmel Stay Matte primer, but have called it quits after years of use.Finding a good replacement primer without talc has been a challenge for a gal with oily skin. I had a trial size of Smashbox Photo Finish Oil and Shine Control primer and was impressed. However, due to the high price tag, I did a LOT of research online, and finally bought this Mabelline product, hoping for a similar feel and effectiveness, but am disappointed. My BB cream doesn't seem to adhere very well to this primer, and is hard to blend in over top. Additionally, my pores don't look diminished at all. My T-zone feels greasy halfway through the day. I've decided to use up the rest of the tube on my cheeks and chin to at least get use out of it, and bit the bullet to buy the Smashbox primer at $45 for a 1 oz tube. I plan on using the Smashbox on my forehead and nose for oil and shine control. So many options are off the table because of talc. I'm sad, but it's important to me. I'm still hunting for a more affordable talc-less primer that's good for oily skin!

Great addition to makeup routine
I have tried several different styles and brands of primer. This one I found at a great price, and you don’t have to use a lot to get good coverage. Keeps my makeup looking fresh much longer than without a primer. I highly recommend this product.

Excellent primer for oily complexions!
I really love this primer! I have oily skin especially in the summer months, so finding a primer that can not only help my makeup stay put but also not cause additional oiliness, is a real challenge, but this product has accomplished that! This is super easy to apply. A small amount is plenty and it rubs in with ease. It makes my skin feel soft and smooth without a greasy feel. My makeup stays on throughout the day and it really seems to assist with keeping my skin less oily. Another big plus is the price! You can spend a fortune on primers, but this one is extremely reasonable.I would highly recommend this product especially if you're prone to an oily complexion like me!
