HAKUHODO J142 Eye Shadow Brush Round from Japan

Love this brush! It is a very soft goat hair brush with a laquered black handle that is shorter than your typical MAC or other American brushes. It has a beautiful feel with nice weight. It's a great crease brush, smaller than a MAC 217 and a bit longer and rounder. If you are looking to get into Japanese brushes this is a great place to start! These brushes are INFINITELY BETTER AND SOFTER than MAC brushes and some are cheaper too! Make sure you do not wash it more than needed and do not use anything harsh or with alcohol (unless you are a professional and need clean brushes to dry very quickly). I wipe mine off on a microfiber cloth after I use it each time and this removes most of the eyeshadow!

This brush was not what I expected AT ALL. The handle of this brush is very short (almost looks like a travel size). The bristles are not as soft as some of my other less expensive brushes. HORRIBLY disappointed.
