This is a great small ironing board! The whole thing is made of metal, not flimsy plastic like the first two brands I ordered. Very stable and plenty of work space, while still a small footprint for a small workspace. A keeper!

I don't iron much. My husband buys those wrinkle-free, non-iron button-down shirts - which really do work! - so I only occasionally have to touch one up. Sometimes I have to iron a button-down shirt for my little boy, and every now and then my daughter does a craft project that involves some ironing. I never bother ironing sheets. We were living with my parents, and just recently we got our own place, which meant buying our own iron and ironing board. With ironing being a relatively infrequent activity, I really didn't want to invest the money in a full-sized ironing board, and anyway, I wasn't sure where we could put one. I stumbled upon this item on Amazon, and I love it! Our family room is carpeted, and for me, it's actually quite comfortable to set this board up directly on the carpet and sit cross-legged while ironing. Sure beats standing while ironing. With the TV on, I dare say I wouldn't even mind if I had more ironing to do. The steel rods are very sturdy. It's super easy to unfold and "lock" into place, and the whole board feels perfectly stable while I'm ironing. A few of the other reviews mentioned that the padding is too thin, but for my ironing purposes, it's fine. I have not noticed any marks from any underlying metal underneath the padding. But again, I really only do "light" ironing. It does have a built-in iron rest, but I never use it. Not because it doesn't work, but because I am just in the habit of always resting the iron on its heel, which works fine for me, and I just never think to use the iron rest. UPDATE 9/29/2014: I continue to use this ironing board for my occasional ironing needs, and it has held up beautifully. Since it's smaller than a full-sized ironing board, I've now gotten into the habit of using the built-in iron rest. It works! No complaints.

Easy to use. Easy to fold. Size is perfect. It is not heavy. It feels really stable. Overall, a great addition and works really well.

Love it. Has an iron-rack otherwise you have to put the iron on the table when using it. Very sturdy. Sufficiently tall, unlike college dorm ones where the clothing gets bunched up. Hangs on front or back of laundry or closet door.

After searching the internet and reading numerous reviews, this is the table top ironing board I chose. It is light weight and used for quick pressing of garments as I sew them; seams, darts, collars, etc. I prefer a well padded board so added more padding and a new cover. Small elastic suspenders keep the cover firmly in place. There is a metal bar that keeps the board folded and a device to hang it on a door for storage. A metal rack that slides out at the end of the board is available to rest your iron on. Pros and cons: the ironing board is light, it slides around on the table. I use either a non-skid pad (used under throw rugs) or bath towel to stabilize the board. The slide out iron rack does not feel sturdy enough to hold the iron and concern that the weight of the iron may tip the board. This board will not replace my full size, old fashioned, heavy wooden board for actual ironing. Shirts and dresses overwhelm the size of this board. Am I glad I bought it? YES, would I buy it again? YES. It is perfect for sewing projects.

This little ironing board is a good size for touch ups with my iron, and it is much easier than getting out the big board. However it needs some tweaks for work well. The brace that holds the board in the position for ironing does not stay in place -- maybe I am an overactive ironer but I doubt it. I rigged it with a thick rubber band to hold it firm so I don't have to worry about burning myself on the iron. Also the pad is too thin. I don't want to see the marks from the metal plate under the pad when I have finished; why not just live with the wrinkles? So I cut two layers the proper size from a towel and put them under the cover. So now that works. The board works well now, however. You just have to decide your tolerance for re-engineering.

WoW! Je suis très satisfaite de mon achat. Comme je demeure dans un très petit appartement, cette planche à repasser ne prend pas d’espace. Elle est solide et très pratique. De plus, je peux repasser mes vêtements en toute quiétude, car la planche à repasser reste bien en place.

The product is innovative . It is not cost effective

Pros: * It's not particle board and so won't warp. * There are no legs in the way at the front of the table top ironing board * It's elevated a fair amount making it easy to use * It's easy to use * Hangs nicely on the back of the door Cons * The padding is thin and I can see that in sort order the metal grating that makes up the top will likely leave an imprint on clothes. (Recommend purchasing additional padding.) * The ironing board cover is a tight fit and I've seen on US Amazon that the replacement covers by this company get the same complaint. I anticipate the cover slipping off. (Recommend getting ironing board clips.) I've ordered another cover with pad from a different company and plan to cover the pad and cover with that for extra padding.) * The iron rest seems a bit flimsy. * The metal might be subject to rust unless the cover is covered or replaced with a metalised cover. * It's a rip off compared to what this same item is selling for in the US. (The seller has nearly doubled the cost. The buyer is paying for postage and the package appears to get no extra care just because it's being sent across the pond, and so there seems to be no reason to increase the cost as much as the seller has.) The reason for the high rating despite the cost and the additional items needed to make it a better product? The design leading to ease of use. Otherwise I'd be giving this 3 stars.

Muy bueno, precio accesible y práctico para poner sobre la mesa, buen tamaño para planchar prendas no muy grandes, suficiente para camisas y pantalones. Y ocupa poco espacio al guardarlo. Después de como 2 años (planchamos solo una vez a la semana) tuve que comprarle una nueva funda y relleno porque ya al planchar se marcaba en la ropa la rejilla de la estructura, pero quedó como nuevo.
