Looks a bit odd but works wery well
I recently purchased this item. I have used a similar camera strap for several years and prefer this type of strap. I was a bit reluctant due to the wrist strap. The strap turns out to be a non-problem. It is easily removed or added. I thought the wrist strap might be uncomfortable, but it is not. This camera strap appears more secure than my previous purchase. I strongly prefer a camera in my hand rather than around my neck

Comfortable and Attractive wrist strap!
I have been trying to find a way to have both a neck strap and a wrist strap on my camera simultaneously. After purchasing a few other less expensive wrist straps, I have finally found one that is both attractive AND comfortable! This is EXACTLY what I have been looking for! The wrist wrap feature is an added bonus. When I’m on my photo walks, I am most comfortable holding my camera in-hand. Unfortunately, fatigue and sweat palms tend to kick in and I have to either hang it from my neck or put it back in the camera bag. The USA Gear TrueSHOT Dual Grip is the perfect solution. The key to getting both neck and wrist straps on the camera has been choosing the proper tripod adapter. I used the adapter from one of my previously purchased wrist straps since the one that came with this one was not compatible with my(or seemingly anyone else’s) tripod. I may return with a long term review after a few weeks/months of use.

Feels secure and sturdy, great for high intensity shooting, forget the tripod tho
The design is comfortable and you don't feel any sort of discomforting bulge from the straps or clip. It's almost unnoticeable at times and stays very VERY secure when tightened. However, once it's set, it's set; which can be a good or bad thing but if you have it on tight and after a while you realize it's too tight and slightly discomforting, you'd have to unstrap from the wrist to pull out the ribbon that handles how loose of an opening for your hand it is. So this would be great for occasions where you need to keep you camera on hand and don't plan to put it away or anything, like skydiving. Whereas, it's actually quite convenient to unbuckle the wrist strap and it's not too bad in terms of feeling secure, if you use it with just the hand grip strap that sits on the backside of your palm. The main reason for my lower overall rating is the lack of compatibility with my various tripods and mounts. The spacing between the bottom of the curved ends make it so that the 1/4 screwhead is just slightly too tall for any screw to catch. The directions in the manual indicate that the metal bars should sit outside the base plate but as you might be able to see from the photos, it's either too small of a gap to reach across and lay flat or it's not large enough to lay evenly across the tripod's base plate. As far as a selfie stick or something with a small mount base, it goes on no problem. And, while arguably, if you're using this sort of grip you wouldn't be thinking of using a tripod most likely, in my case, that was the entire purpose of the quick release, otherwise why would you need quick release either? So if compatibility with a tripod is not a concern for you, and my opinion was based purely on its craftsmanship, I'd say it's fair value for the price and would recommend it, considering it claims to be made of high density neoprene (same material as a wet suit--water resistant and stain resistant) . With a feel that seems durable, and no noticeable loose thread ends sticking up out of the fabric anywhere, I'd say the overall construction is fairly well put together. However, when looking at the threading, it's understandable they used a straight stitch as it's the strongest stitch, but for this type of material to give it room to stretch, one might normally expect a flatlock stitch or blind=stitch. This may not be as pertinent since it doesn't need to be a watertight seam but will likely more or less affect it's long-term durability. Hope that helps!

Held up well, held camera securely even when running.
I bought this for a trip to Europe and used it every day for three weeks on a Sony A99 with a Tamron 16-300 hyper-zoom lens. Not a lightweight rig but the strap held it all very securely and was comfortable to use and wear even on multi-hour excursions or when running through the streets of Koln to get back to the boat. My only complaint is that I have small hands and wrists and could not get it tight enough to really suit me. Other than that I was very pleased with my purchase and I intend to use it more often rather than a neck strap. It made for a far more enjoyable experience always having the camera to hand and ready to use.

GREAT Camera Grip
I am so used to using camera straps that I had never considered there would be a grip available. This has completely changed my view of camera straps forever. I purchased this for my mother who had just bought herself a new camera and it didn't take long for me to realize I needed one as well. Normally, when I use my camera, I wrap the strap around my hand because I never keep it around my neck when I'm taking pictures. This grip is built for it to remain around your wrist so you can easily snap pictures without worrying about your camera dropping. It also comes with an easily detached piece where you can remove the camera from the strap without removing the entire contraption from your hand. I would highly recommend this grip!

Functional but,...
I use this with my Sony A7iii. This item makes holding the camera very secure. It also is very comfortable to hold the camera when used together (hand and wrist grip) I tried using the hand grip by itself but somehow it does not lay comfortably in my hand. It either seems too loose or is not really aligned comfortably with my hand. By the way, I am a medium size male. I did notice however that when doing photo sessions and I had to adjust my external light I would find myself detaching from the wrist grip so that I could free my hand. The process became cumbersome. So in conclusion, I would use this item perhaps when going out and shooting natural light and maybe use a belt camera holder or an over the shoulder strap for professional shoots when external lighting is involved or when you will be needing to free up your hands.

I definitely must have utility.
Like other hand straps which were pretty good but like this one better cuz of the wrapping around the wrist and the support that holds the camera of course. Is very ideal just for the fact because it's still a easy release and recontact. If it's just like a glove once I saw this particular piece of wearable contraption. Thought to myself I should have been gotten this one. Not just for the colors alone but just the overall hand strap that goes around the wrist and of course overall durability comfortable. And a definite confidence that your camera rig will never go anywhere just as long as it's locked in correctly.

Top confort

I love it!
I just love this product. As a young photographer with a very heavy camera I find a lot of the time the neck strap makes me neck so sore just from the wait of the camera. I got this and I have never wanted to use the neck strap again. This holder is very comfortable, stylish and durable. I've gotten it wet on accident and it dries up pretty well, the clip to undo the wrist peice from the camera is a life saver. My only problem is I do find in the summer my wrist does get quite hot and sweaty. I do recommend this product if your finding a neck strap is frustrating and hurting.

Comodidad y firmeza
