This wasn't a quick repair but it worked great. It came with thorough instructions that covered the MX922 model. The directions had you soak the print head after removing it from the printer for 8 hours. I started in the afternoon so I let it soak overnight. When fully cleaned you are to let it dry. I wiped the cleaner off the print head but also let it air dry for about 4 hours. Reinstalled in the printer and did a printer head cleaning then printed a test sheet, perfect print! I definitely recommend. It saved me the cost of a print head at $90 to $130.

One of the nozzles (yellow) of my MX920 was completely clogged. The printer beeped and showed Error B200. Don’t you just hate that? Your printer works fine for years, then the POT (Printer Obsolescence Timer) goes off? Rather than buy another ink jet printer (which we’ve had to do about every 4 years), I decided to try this cleaning kit. When it arrived I followed the directions for soaking the printhead. Because of other work I had, It soaked for 18 hours instead of the 8 hours suggested. Then I did the rest of the cleaning according to the instructions. After a few false starts and complaints from the printer about how it had been shut off before, the first test page came out very good. Not as dark as I’d wish, but that will work itself out as I print more, and probably after I put new cartridges in. So this purchase was a winner, though now I have a blue thumb. Wear rubber gloves, is what I learned.

Didn’t save my print head, got B200 errors after cleaning. However doubt it was the solution that did it, worth the purchase to try and save printer. It’s an on going process still to try and rectify my situation, but rubbing alcohol probably would have worked as well.

I used this product on a Canon MX922 and a 6821 print head which had both plugged up. The 6821 had lost the pigmented black head, and it cleared quickly and easily. The 922 all-in-one had a blocked Magenta nozzle and a partially blocked pigmented black. The excellent instructions resulted in clean heads the first time. The only reason I gave it 4 stars was the "hoses" on the syringes were difficult to get securely on the head ports. I'd buy it again. p.s. - What the heck is "sheerness"?

I had high hopes to fix my printers head unit. Nope, didn't do a thing. I followed all the steps, tried twice. Nada happening baby. After using this, I can see where this might work, but not on mine issue.

worked. My big black tank was clogged. Couple tips:Wear a work shirt. The syringe popped off a couple times, first time I was wearing my 'good' KC Chiefs sweatshirt. Wife is not please.I ran thru 6 times. Sorta worked, tried the printer UI to clean which jacked all up again. Ran thru about 15 more times and this time rather than dripping out you could see the individual jets. Think of a clogged shower head.So imo the cleaning solution was probably not the complete answer but the syringe is. I tried to clean with 100% isopropyl alcohol but I don't think wit was effective due to not pressurizing it thru like this does..in any even, buy it, run thru more than it says and it worked well. Would buy again.

I bought this a few months ago and just tried to use it. My printer (Canon MX920) has 5 cartridges. It took a bit to get the printhead out of the machine after removing the cartridges. I followed the instructions to the letter. After putting everything back in place the printer came alive and started printed stuff from the queue. I'm very happy with the product and how well it cleaned my printhead. I would definitely use this again.

The black ink on my printer stopped working. After replacing the ink cartridge, I ran several passes of automatic head cleaning but it still did not print black. I removed print head and cleaned it with alcohol but still it wouldn’t print black. I decided to try this cleaning product. In less than two minutes, I had successfully cleaned the print head. This product saved me from purchasing a new print head or printer.
