Very nice book. Great pictures. But front cover had a few creases and some grease on front cover and back cover. Made it look used, or someone decided to sit and look at it before it got sent out. Ordered new and it didn't look new. So very disappointed in the way it showed up.

Like most craft books, you can find plenty of similar info on the internet, but for me the whole point of ordering more generic craft books is for inspiration when I'm not feeling creative but I do feel like crafting. I originally checked this out from the library but ultimately had to buy because it's such a great starting point and a great flip-through inspiration book. While no doubt I'll never use every day, inevitably the ideas I have zero desire to use will end up in a project but with my own spin on it. Super great.

I bought this after downloading the preview to my Kindle. After reading the preview, I was really looking forward to getting my hands on the actual book. There is something about having a book in your hands that is way more satisfying than reading a preview or even reading the actual book on your Kindle. I had really high hopes that the material offered after the preview would be great. I wasn't disappointed when I finally held the book in my hands, but I also didn't have an "Oh, wow" moment when I finally had the book. I was hoping for some mixed media techniques that would inspire me in working in my art journal. There's some good stuff here, and some interesting suggestions and techniques that I'll probably play with. But it just wasn't what I was hoping for based on the preview. If you need some ideas about how to proceed with creating and embellishing a scrapbook, or even if you're looking for some new techniques that you can adapt and use in your art journal, there are at least a couple of things that would be worth your time to check out and experiment with.

I just got this awesome book in the mail about a week ago and it is mind blowing! The author has the talent to obtain art from such ordinary products, I will definitely be putting a lot into practice from the ideas of the book. Thanks to this book, I have changed my vision of how to do scrap booking and any other crafty projects. I cannot wait to continue to do a couple of layouts with the ideas from this book. I love the illustrations, step by step explanation and the extra tips on each project. Well organized by topics and techniques. Be prepared to be learn a lot, specially out of the box! This book is a must have!!Also, if you have the opportunity to take a class with the author, DO SO!!, it is a great learning experience and loads of fun.

This is a must have for any scrapbooker,card maker or crafter who loves to use anything on hand for crafting. The book has everything from basic to advanced foundations and each project is described in detail from start to finish. Vicki not only has great directions, her pictures also show the steps and she has great examples of what the end result is. This makes a great gift for any crafter. I'd buy any book she writes for crafting.

I've bought a lot of scrapbooking idea books, but this includes some things I haven't tried. It is a great resource for paper crafters of all levels and I am excited to stretch my techniques. I admire Vicki's work that I've seen on scrapbooking websites and this book brings in the talents of many others as well. I'm going to need to get off the computer and start working on some of the ideas in this book!

Bought for my wife, who works a lot with mixed media and found this a great book for ideas.

Book arrived in good time. Easy to follow techniques with good colour photography throughout. Overall very pleased.
