Linon Laredo Storage Bench

I love love love this bench. I am so glad that I bought it. My husband put it together for me in under an hour. All of the pieces were intact and in good condition. I was really surprised at how well the molding was done as it was on the front and the back. This piece is not made from particleboard but rather wood. I would concur with the other reviewer's that the piece they put on the bottom inside is inadequate for storage. I totally love the look of this. I have it inside my mud room for my kids to sit on to put shoes on. Two kids can easily sit at side-by-side on it. The storage is fairly deep if you can fix the inside so it's a little stronger. I just think it's adorable and I am so glad that I bought it. This is One of my favorite Amazon home purchases ever!

I really love this bench. It is providing the much needed storage for my pet supplies in an apartment with overflowing closets! The only issue we had is that when putting it together, the drill holes on the back piece did not match up properly, so we had to align it ourselves to make it centered. As others have said, the bottom piece (the "floor" of the bench) is pretty flimsy, so I'm not sure it would hold items that are overly heavy. It looks great, though and has solved a HUGE storage issue for us! Also, it adds extra seating in our foyer, which is an added benefit!

Was missing a piece, but manufacturer sent it once requested. The top lid scrapes against one arm rest when opening/closing, but I don’t mind. The storage area is large but the bottom is cheap and will not hold much weight, expected since in many other reviews. So it’s good for blankets and such, nothing heavier. The bench itself is sturdy and will hold two adults. Overall, I really like this bench, it was inexpensive and looks good from afar.

This bench is perfect for an entry way. It is beautiful and sturdy and has good storage capacity for blankets and toys. The assembly process took less than an hour. I am highly pleased with this purchase.

Update1/26/20 - After daily use since its purchase, the metal pivot bracket for the lid broke off inside the frame. The lid can no longer be used which makes the whole thing inoperable and useless for my purpose. I am extremely disappointed.I needed a smaller storage bench for my entry that could hold our shoes. The other reviews are correct in saying that the interior shelf is not very sturdy, but it will hold our shoes with no problem. If you are looking to store heavier items, this may not be the bench for you. The assembled dimensions of my bench were true to the description on the website, with the actual dimensions being 46 x 16 7/8 x 22 5/8. From the floor to the top of the seat is 17 1/4. The weight limit of 275 lbs will be perfect for us to sit on to put our shoes on. The seat feels sturdy and doesn't feel like it's going to snap under us. I would definitely recommend this!

All the parts were in the box. My husband put it together in about 30 minutes with a drill. It was easy to put together and I love the look on my condo front porch. He did split the wood a little on the arm when he went too heavy with the drill, so be careful with that. Overall love the quality and look.

I am very happy with this purchase. It was a great price, so I was worried it would be cheaply made but it is very sturdy. Other reviews said their bench was damaged when they got it, or had missing screw holes/etc., but I had no issues with either of those things. The storage cubes inside are 12x12 size, which fit very well. I'm attaching a picture of the one thing that bugs me, just because I'm a little OCD: The "back rest" on the bench sticks out from the back so it looks a little "off". I wish it was a little more streamlined/sleek... but it doesn't bother me enough to give it less than 5 stars.Regarding the assembly: The directions were easy enough to understand but it was cumbersome to put together. I definitely would have had a hard time putting it together by myself.

Bought this as a gift for my sister. We’re both senior women, so it was hard just getting it in the house! Heavy particle board “wood”. We struggled assembling it. Not all holes were drilled or marked. The ones that were, were so tiny we completely missed them! Luckily I had my power drill with me and made my own holes! Screws were missing “screw caps”. Not a huge deal but still. Also, one screw was defective. I had to find a substitute in my collection.It’s supposed to be storage and a bench. My 124 lb sister sat on it and I saw it visibly sag a bit. She just wants it for storage though. And once assembled, It is very cute. But damn, it took over 3 hours and some sore muscles the next day. Skip it unless you’re super strong and handy or are married to someone who is.

Really happy with this. I was a bit hesitant at first because some of the reviews suggested it was difficult to put together and felt flimsy, but I decided to with it because the dimensions were perfect and the cost was right. Using it as a blanket box at the end of the bed. It looks great and when I have a throw on there, the cats are always claiming it as a bed.I’ve sat on it s number of times and never felt like it was going to break or couldn’t hold the weight it says it can.I don’t think it would hold heavy items inside well, but sheets, towels and bedding? Perfect.

Overall glad we purchased this bench, but if you follow instructions it lead to our “bench top” being unable to close fully. So some adjustments were made and it’s working well now. Inexpensive and looks good.

The assembly instruction was not correct, pieces 5 and 6 were placed wrongly by the instruction.The indicated holes for screws were absolutely wrong and the back cover could not be place!The lid cover was not easy to assemble, again the indicated holes for the screws were totally in the wrong place.NOT worth the money at all!! Don't want to spend more time on it, so didn't drive to return it. It is now a useless bench in our garage!

The size of it is nice and it holds quite a few items.The quality of it doesn't seem to be the greatest. It can with scuffs and scratches; it looks like it was used for a while, returned and resold. Just not sure if it is worth the price.
