Love
It was required for work that I have a mouse that was hard-wired. I have a wireless one I bought several years ago because of severe wrist pain. Instantaneous relief! So, it was my only choice when I had to have a wired mouse for work!!

Fast and easy to use, but not sized per description
This mouse was a neat color, fast and easy to use, hooked up plug and play even without software downloads, but the small is not really small. I'm female with large hands, and it was still too big even for me. Easy return though.

Second one for the win!
Sorry for the slow review! This is my second Evoluent mouse. I've had problems with tendonitis since my 2006-7ish. A recent data entry project has re-aggrevated. I had a mouse for my left hand, to give my right hand a break, but now my left one needs a break. This was the perfect mouse so I can switch things up. I stayed away from the wireless ones because of the reported lag. I love the smaller size of this one (my left hand one is a regular size). This doesn't aggravate my hand as much as cutting and pasting using my keyboard and trackpad (I also stretch my hands two to three times a day, especially when I have a flare up).One of the deal breakers for me with other vertical mice I saw online was that Evoluent offers programmable buttons. That was a big one for me. I've got cut, copy, and paste, all programmed into the buttons. I draw in my spare time outside of work (where I've been doing a lot of cutting and pasting into CSV files). A mouse without programming was a no-go for me, unfortunately. Worth the money. Shipped fast. Arrived on time from Jestik.

since they are just so clearly superior. Unlike regular mice
I ordered this mouse because to relieve wrist pain from using a standard mouse for extended hours as a software developer. I don't understand why everyone doesn't use a vertical mouse, since they are just so clearly superior. Unlike regular mice, which force your nerves to cross thus numbing your entire arm, you hold this mouse in a "handshake" position, which leaves the nerves in your parallel to one another. The build quality of the mouse is very high as to be expected for such a high price. In addition to working as a software developer, I also use this mouse for gaming. Here are a couple specs that they don't list:DPI: Adjustable DPI 500, 1000, 1500, 2000.Polling Rate: 125 HzI highly recommend this mouse even though I am on my second one (the first one broke after 6 years).

Pain is gone!
I had pain in my wrist, back of my hand, and forearm from constantly using a regular mouse. The pain immediately subsided once I began using the vertical mouse and, within the next day, the pain was gone! I have small hands, so the small vertical mouse fit me perfectly! Just be sure to compare the measurements of the mouse with your hand before purchasing one. The Evoluent Vertical Mouse is definitely an investment, so you really want to be sure you get the right size. Also, I suggest using this with a mouse pad that has wrist support. There's about an inch of space between my hand (wrist) and the table.Thank you so much for making this mouse available, Evoluent! It's my savior.

Great mouse to relieve my RSI on my right hand. I'll never go back to a "flat" mouse
My hand was hurting from my normal desktop mouse. So I got my boss to agree to buy this thing. And it solved my hand cramp! Details: My right hand pinky and ring finger were hurting from strain from clicking the mouse. This more ergonomic vertical design immediately relieved pain. I use it every day. I will never go back to a "flat" (not vertical) mouse again.Highly suggest this if you have or are developing an RSI. Tell your boss to buy it for you. It's worth it. Also, they have a wireless one - but I like the cord.

Recommend For Arm Pain
Before I purchased this mouse I read most of the reviews. When it arrived I set it up right away. I didn't really have a hard time adjusting to this mouse and I have noticed a difference right off in my right arm pain, elbow to shoulder. I am still getting use to the sensitivity of the buttons but Im adjusting quickly. Recommended.
