Update 1/8/26: The issues with sealing have been fixed as every bag is fresh and sealed tight. This is the only coffee we drink and it absolutely does not bother my stomach! It is rich and flavorful. I buy two different flavors and occasionally the espresso beans. It is worth it! I really enjoy this coffee when it's vacuum sealed properly. I've been buying this for probably a month or so. I picked it out as it was a more affordable option for coffee tested for micro toxins and mold as well as being low acid. The first package I received was sealed very tight meaning the grounds were not moving in the bag and the bag didn't budge when squeezed. It was delicious and when we finished it, I bought more. The second bag was not as tightly sealed as the first and I noticed the flavor was not as bold. Out of each order, only 2 have had well sealed bags and I buy bother the dark roast and the medium roast. If each bag was consistently sealed tight I would give this 5 stars.

I'm reviewing the Papua New Guinea, both the ground and the whole bean products. I've been looking for a coffee to replace the Coffee Bean & Tea Leaf's medium-dark organic Papua New Guinea Sigri Estate. It's been a long journey of trying different coffees over time. None really hit like that. I think where I'd go next would have been to get something like a pure Jamaican Blue Mountain coffee, but that's very expensive. Now I think I've found something good enough to replace it. It's very close, and it might even have some better flavor notes than what I was looking for. I first tried the ground version of this product, and it was not quite as bold as what I wanted, but close. Excellent flavor. Smooth. Low acid. It's nice. I'd give it 4.5 stars. Then I tried the whole bean version of this product, and it blew me away. Both are the same Papua New Guinea medium-dark. To my surprise, the whole bean version put it over the top for me. It was more flavorful than the ground version and came much closer if not better than the Coffee Bean & Tea Leaf PNG that I was looking to replace. This one is a keeper. The ground one is good, too, but not quite as good as the whole bean one. I'd give the whole bean one a 5 star rating. Both are very smooth and low acid. The whole bean one seemed more bold and had flavor that I didn't get from the ground version. Highly recommended.

Fairly new to this product so the jury is still out. So far it tastes good and if it’s better for you then I’m on board. Little bit more pricey, but if it’s a health benefit then it will be worth it. Update: I’m a fan, this coffee is really good and I wasn’t sure at first, but I don’t get heartburn after drinking it and didn’t realize it was the coffee doing it to me. I’ll be a repeat customer.

Taste great and easy on the stomach.

Normally I would have given this a five star but I was disappointed with my order this time. First I noticed One of the bags had a hole in the top. When I opened it I also noticed the grounds were more course than the last bag. I tried it anyway and found it to NOT be fresh. Having a hole in the top of the bag must have caused it to go stale. It was bitter with an aftertaste. Luckily I bought two bags. The second was airtight, fine grounds and tastes great. I'm very upset that they would send me a damaged bag as it's not an inexpensive coffee. Otherwise it's the best coffee I've had and it has no metals.

The clean Coffee Co. - Low Acid Medium-Dark Roast, Tested for Molds and toxins, was exactly as described. Wonderful smooth delicious taste. I added some organic coffee creamer and drank it slowly. I will buy Clean Coffee Co again . I am pleased with my purchase.

Delicious smooth quality coffee for the money. I over pour filter my coffee so the grind quality is perfect. The low acid content is also good.

This is the WORST coffee I’ve ever had. Tastes like watery decaf. Normally I use a French press with Trader Joe’s coffee, and I like it strong and flavorful. Wanted to try some more expensive “clean” coffee and this was a huge disappointment. I got a headache after drinking it because it barely even had any caffeine. I had to make a cup of my normal coffee afterward just to get the headache to go away. Is it decaf? Or have barely any caffeine? Totally awful experience. ALSO, the expiration date on the bag is only a few months away in Sept 2021. Normally when I buy coffee at the store the expiration date is in a couple years because it’s a fresh batch. It says 2018 on the packaging - So it’s that old, from 2018?! (See photo of the packaging where is says 2018 like that’s when it was packaged). So it looks like they made the batch in 2018 and they’re still trying to sell it all off before it expires this year. (See photo it says it expires in September 2021). So even if I liked it I’d only have a couple months left to even drink it before it expires. TOTAL WASTE OF TIME AND MONEY. Good thing I pay for Amazon Prime because I returned and got my money back. Don’t fall for the hype and do not buy. I feel bad leaving this review because I normally like to support small businesses but there is just no excuse for this and I felt cheated. Maybe this review will get them to make a new batch and stop selling off the gross old stuff.
