Letitia Baldrige's New Complete Guide to Executive Manners
M**.
A useful easy reading
It is a really handy manual for someone new in the field (or rather, at the mannerism). Even though it might seem boring at times for those who've got a proper upbringing, there are useful details that one cannot learn in the family but while in the business. The language of the book is professional but easy and involving. For myself, this was not a book to read and enjoy and put aside but rather a textbook that I shall keep looking into each time I need to do my work. It has already helped a lot when I was to design some invitations. The condition of the book received is mint and postage was prompt and quick. I'd highly recommend both the author and the Amazon seller!

Outdated and generally common knowledge
Maybe my age is showing but I found this book to be filled with common-knowledge. It was basically a primer for everything my mother ever taught me about common courtesy and manners. While I found some of the reading to be a little informative I was surprised overall that my MBA had this as required reading. If you're thinking of purchasing this and you already have a good sense of professionalism I'd save the money. Very little that stuck with me after I read this that I didn't already have a good sense of knowing.

Great reference material for any executive
A must have for any executive. A business buddy of mine recommended this book to me several years ago and I must say - it's certainly helped me in many ways. I intend to purchase the latest version soon.

Excellent book
I had this book years ago and let someone borrow it. Big mistake. I never got it back. I was delighted to see this was still available. It has so much more useful information for business and life than the other etiquette books. No one gets to borrow this one!

It was more than a little shopworn. It must have sat in the sun for months before I got it.

Book wasn't new (as advertised)
Book arrived used, in disgusting condition. It truly looked like it was pulled from the garbage. After a long back and forth from the seller she credited my card and told me I could throw it away. She changed her mind a couple of weeks later and wanted the book sent back to her. Too late, it went back home to the garbage dump. Wierd experience but I wasn't in a hurry to get the book so I just bought another one. The book itself is fantastic and I do recommend it. Maybe that seller should read it.
