The reviewers either love or hate these remotes. Yes, it has a white programmable area and came with no instructions what-so-ever on how to program it. The instructions for the SuperBox remotes work for programming. Let’s clear this up straight away; I do NOT know if this remote will work with your XYZ Brand, 123 Model Android TV Box, since I don’t own one of those. I’m quite sure I will still get questions on that. The same answer will be given, maybe even a copy & paste to save some of my time. I DO know it works with my Chinese HK1 R-Box and SuperBox Elite. It’s much better than the remote that came with the HK1 R-Box. The keypad allows quicker entry of FileLInked codes than the ‘hunt and peck’ method, however if you want you can still ‘hunt & peck’ with this remote. In fact, this remote will be my daily driver. It’s small, has the functions I want to control the TV and Android Box everyday and it’s inexpensive. For searches on sites which require lots of letters, I use a wireless keyboard. The best part is if you purchase this remote from Amazon and it doesn’t work out for you, you can return it very easily, plus give it a really crap review. PROGRAMMING THE REMOTE Press & hold the <POWER> button in the white programmable area for 5 seconds until the solid light appears. This indicates “programming enabled”. Press the button in the white programmable area to be programmed, light will flash. HINT: Remember to program the TV power button. Aim the top side of both remotes at each other, about 1 inch apart. Press the button on the TV remote to program. The light will flash 3 times then remain lit. If unsuccessful the light will flash 5 times. Press any key outside the white programmable area to exit.

Item arrived in time and in perfect condition, price was good. Unfortunately I had to return the item, because it was not working with my device. Then I realized that I have ordered wrong version. Sorry for the trouble.

This doesn’t work on my box, just on and off, but it does work well for my air conditioner! It says it works for android boxes /SmartTvBox but can’t use it! Waste of my money! Disappointed
