The Way of the Crucible

If you genuinely are interested in working on understanding the philosophy behind Alchemy, and learning methods to practice the concepts, then definitely read this and its prequel! This book is also full of advice for lab equipment, set-up and tips for those who are newer to a laboratory. I'm currently reading these books alongside watching Bartlett's Vimeo lessons (from Spagyricus Institute); loving every moment of it-although there is a lot of material here, and pacing is essential! Personally: every page and every moment is exactly what I hoped to rediscover. You will not be disappointed.

This book is my official introduction into Alchemy and I am thoroughly informed and more connected to the inner workings of the Universe. So many dots connected. Robert Allen Bartlett makes this work easy to follow, organized, taking notes and meditation on my workings is transforming my life for the best. I have done spagyric work and have wanted to Get into the metal kingdom and this book realy opens the door to that.If you have read Real alchemy or have the Alchemist handbook by frater Albertus then it would also be good to get this book, and some antimony aswell.The way of the crucible takes out all the guess work and shows you in plain simple English but it can help to know what a green lion and a red Dragon are, if not the book will tell you.If you are an alchemist or want to be then it would be wise to get this book.LUX

If there was ever a doubt about real alchemy, what its truthfully about, then this is the book for you.I don't often give reviews, but when something is this spot on, then there is need to express how much it can alter an awareness.This is Alchemy, read it, and see for yourself.

A masterfully written follow-up to “Real Alchemy.” I would recommend only purchasing this after getting the first book, but it stands up well on its own.

One of the best books on mineral alchemy with clear instructions on most of the processes which were traditionally explained in secretive and allegorical descriptions...Highly Recommended.

As with his first book on practical alchemy, this book is non-pretentious and clearly worded. Bartlett is doing more to spread the word on Hermetic thought than anyone has for thousands of years. If you want to get your hands dirty and head down this path in earnest this book is pure gold.

You better read the first book first (Real alchemy).The amount of knowledge in this book is outstanding.I've bought books of triple the value of this book but not even a quarter of the knowledge i found inside this one.I practice spagyric.This book is real Mercury.
