Stays sharp and works to my expectation for cutting wood for our fireplace.

Love the sharpness, but you must feed it gently into the wood. Very aggressive cutting action, feed too fast and it bogs down my smaller Stihl saw.

I got this chain for wildfire cleanup and stumping. I think it's a good value. The chain is very sharp but is rough. I filed the rakers down and it's doing better but it still doesn't make chips like a regular steel chain. On the other hand, it handles charred wood and dirt way better than regular steel, so overall I call it a win. I would not use this chain for regular wood. I ran 4 tanks of gas on this chain today pretty much non stop. The weather was 20 degrees to 45 degrees. The trees were mostly burned at the base which makes for tricky felling work. I really liked not having to sharpen the chain every few minutes in the burned wood. Pro: Stays sharp very long even in charred wood and dirty wood. Bore cuts are pretty quick. Con: Cuts slow High vibration Rough starts to bore cuts Chips easily

Chain does an excellent job and arrived fast!

I went to 5 dealers and they told me that they don't have tungsten carbide in stock and had to order. All of them say it is about 110. I just need to cut tree that have galvanized steel fence grown in them. Thanks for having a reasonable price Forester!

Item is listed as carbide and it is definitely NOT!!!! The listing image is carbide chain and what I got was a basic chain for more $$
