Garden Gro Dechlorinating Replacement Cartridges (Pair) for Healthy Plants & Lawn

I have been using these filters for several years now. They work. I use them for watering the garden and also for making compost. The surface tension is broken when passing through the media, and the water seems to soak into and onto things much better.The plants seem to like this water much better than regular tap. Of course rain is best. If tap water is a 1 and rain is a 10, these filters come in somewhere around 6.The slower you adjust your flow, the better it seems to work, although it still effectively works at the max flow recommended.The only down side is that you can not put pressure on the line. That is, you can not turn on the water then stop the flow past the filter. Otherwise, the media becomes compressed and loses effectiveness.

This filter has made a big difference in the quality of my garden products. Previous to using this filter my garden suffered from the chlorine in the city water as it was killing the good microbes in the soil. Now I have a lush garden and almost no mold problems. I can not verify how much chlorine it removes but it did well enough to impress me. :)

Arrived quickly and was just what I needed. Tried to recycle old cartridges but was not economical to do so! Shipping cost via ground would have been $17 from SoCal!

This system is great for the garden. I've noticed a difference in the quality of the vegetables and the condition of the soil since I started using it a few months ago. My trusty earthworms would give it two thumbs up if they had hands!

Does as states...dechlorinates the water and allows the microbes in your soil to thrive. Been using these for two seasons now and my soil never looked better. MY PLANTS LOVE ME!!!
