Danco 10521 Dual Thread Dishwasher Snap Coupling Adapter, 15/16-27 X 55/64-27 Male, 1.5 Gpm, No Size, golden white black

I bought a Midea washing machine off someone and it came with one of these snap coupling adapters too but I think the previous owner either left one of the rubber gaskets in her faucet or she messed around with it too much but it leaked a bit when I first connected it and after I tried messing around with it, it just got worse. I saw this on Amazon and I thought why not? What do I have to lose for less than $10? So I ordered it and low and behold my stock adapter was missing the gasket that sits on top of the aerator portion that connects to the faucet, which would explain the leaking. I tried taking just the top gasket off the new adapter and attaching it to the old one and it worked! But regardless, I decided to keep it because it’s nice and new and shiny and the snap coupling works better and smoother than the old one, where I had to yank at the connection pretty hard to get it off, which can’t be good for the faucet in the long term. This one is super smooth, doesn’t leak at all (knock on wood), and fits perfectly with my faucet and hose. The only thing to keep in mind is that the aerator is a male connector so make sure your faucet has a female connector, otherwise you’ll just have to buy a simple adapter that you can easily find on Amazon that’ll run you just under $8. Super happy because I thought I ruined my sink or I had to fill my sink up with a bucket since the connection was leaking but that’s not an issue anymore!

I bought this to attach to my kitchen sink faucet to then attach to a hose that stretched 100 feet to water my patio garden. This adapter worked fine. The octagon shape on the one end was different. I didn’t notice that when I purchased it. It works fine, and it doesn’t leak/spray water out when I attach the hose to it. So I would give it five stars. The cool thing about this product was that you could keep part of this adapter attached to your kitchen sink faucet and remove the bottom part of the adapter. You could do this really easily by pulling down this plastic piece that incircles the middle point of the adapter. When you pull it down, it releases the top part of the adapter. I thought that was pretty cool.

I used this to connect to my Krib portable washing machine and stainless steel flex hose. It worked great! I love how adaptable this was, replete with washers and pin-push valves to achieve a snug, leak-free fit.

First of all, you'll need vice grips to install this. And my one and only complaint is the lack of instructions and not including Teflon tape. The Teflon tape was a must for me to be able to install with no leaks. Also, it says to install with locking pliers... Maybe I'm just unfamiliar with the terminology but I thought this just meant regular pliers with the locking feature... No. You need vice grips to get it all the way on... Well, I did anyways. But after getting it installed it has been amazing! I don't even switch back to the normal sink aerator now because the little piece it snaps onto works just fine when I don't have the hose snapped onto it. So it's a quick snap and go. Very easy to use... But don't let the hose fill with water then try to remove as it can be VERY hard to do so... And you'll probably get sprayed with water in the face when you do get it off. But this isn't a design flaw but rather a user error. I just ordered a portable washer and if needs an adapter I'll absolutely be buying another one of these! After using this I wouldn't even try anything else.

I'll try to explain this as best I can.... The Aerator that connects to the faucet is smaller in diameter than the quick connect adapter making it easy to snap on and off but it also leaks because of the miss fit size of the Aerator and quick release adapter. I have the original that come with my Haier washer and it's a pain to connect and disconnect from my kitchen faucet but it doesn't leak. The reason I bought this Aerator and quick connect adapter is because I didn't want to JB weld the original Haier washer Aerator to the cheap plastic faucet that the threads can hold the aerator on. I looked at some kitchen sink faucet and the only one I can afford to buy would be another cheap plastic one, So I just JB welded this Aerator to the faucet and see if that will get me by until I can maybe find a used kitchen faucet with metal Aerator threads. The instruction that come with this Danco aerator and quick connect adapter has a small piece of paper inside that has a WARNING: This product contains a chemical known to the State of California to cause cancer and birth defects or other reproductive harm.

This adapter has been used for a few years now to attach my garden hose to my kitchen sink. It fits and works flawlessly with no leakage every time. Connecting and disconnecting is as simple as popping the hose with one end of the attachment on to the sink which has the other end of the attachment. I have a decent size garden that needs watering almost everyday so I just leave the attachments on the sink and hose as a permanent fixture and haven’t had a problem in three years now. Just snap on and snap off in seconds! I’ve now gotten one for my neighbor and my niece so they can water their plants and fill kiddie pools for the kiddos. I’ve never used it to attach a dishwasher or any other appliance but I would assume it would work as well for this use. Definitely a good buy for my needs!

This is very good quality coupling from what I can tell. Incredibly easy to install. Lost the hose with attachment for my portable washer, used a regular washer hose and added this to the my chosen faucet (worked on both bathroom aerator and kitchen) and voila, much heavier duty than the one that came with the washer originally. Also much more esthetically pleasing than the other too as the faucet looks almost normal when the hose with “female” coupling is snapped off for using the faucet only. Without the aerator the sink does obviously flow differently but very minor problem overall for how simple this makes detaching and hooking up washer for use.

Very easy to screw on to my dishwashing machine hose and my laundry machine hose clips into the Fossett much easier than the original that those two machines came with which fell apart after a few months of use I would definitely get this item again and recommend it for anyone who needs this
