Better than PBE
Great stuff! Excellent adhesion and welds easily. Far better performance than the Seymour PBE weld through primer.

The best rust preventer, highest zinc content
this is the best spray paint i have found to prevent rust, been using for years. it has the highest zinc content of any weld-through primer (see their website). it actually doesn't need a top-coat, i have parts exposed to weather for several years and unaffected. you can paint oxidized steel after just a quick wire wheel cleanup to remove loose rust.

It's good, but know what you are getting into
Does this work as a primer that will keep rust out and allow you to paint and do exactly what a primer does? Yes. Can you weld through it? Also yes. In a very literal sense, this item met all its stated promises. BUT: It seems to want to sputter when I actually weld with it. Could this be my fault? Sure. It's possible that the paint wasn't fully dry when I began to weld and that sputtering was the remaining moisture boiling off. It's also possible that my Argon was low and that mean it wasn't being shielded. I will try again this weekend with assuredly dry paint and a fresh tank of Argon and give it a go again. If it works fine AND I remember to re-visit this review, I'll upgrade it to 5 stars.

Welded right through it
This is good galvanized primer. It covers well and dries quickly. Used this on some car body panels that were overlapped to keep the rust at bay. Also used it on some panels that were spot welded and it worked well on those as well. You might have to play with the settings on your welder because I found it needed to be hotter to get a solid weld. Be careful on thin panels of course. All total I have bought 3 cans of this for different uses and if I need more, this is the brand I would buy.
