These are the best Bobby pins on the market! I’ve used this brand for well over 10 years and I’ve never been disappointed! They hold well, blend well (there are a couple/few colors to chose from) are very sturdy, but definitely don’t rip your hair when you take them out! Professional quality and VERY worth the price!

These freaking bobby pins are the best I've ever purchased. My female family members are impressed. I have thick, straight hair that weighs nearly 1.5+ lbs/0.68+ kg, yes I weighed it. You really don't know how much weight you're carrying around on your shoulders until you measure it out, I was very surprised. Japanese people tend to have thick hair (used to be a hair stylist, and have worked on multiple ethnic-specific hair), so I'm not surprised they made a version of bobby pins meant for thicker haired people. Pros: - the material is a hard metal mixed with something else, which makes it flexible but it snaps back into shape quite easily. (I remember reading it was iron mixed w/other things, I'm guessing a polymer that allows for flexibility?) - thick, it allows for more security - bumpy ridges help to keep them together when you criss cross them. - long, so it great for people with long hair - I have had some for so long that they no longer snap back into place, but despite this, if I use an old one with a non-bent one, it's still really sturdy and doesn't slip. - there are 300 of these!!!!! I don't have to buy 50 or 75 at a time from the drugstore anymore. - truly does not rust. Unless you're careless with constantly leaving it out with water, this won't be a problem. I've left them in showers for a few days before and no rust, altho, that did change after 1 month+. Cons: - slightly heavier metal will hurt after long-term use. I mean it, if secured well in place, the pins are right on your scalp. The weight of your hair + gravity + hours of wear = lots of pressure on one spot on your scalp. This is why I had my hair weighed, I was curious after taking down a bun one day and having to gently rub the sore scalp. - once lost, lost forever, but forever in my heart. - choking hazard. I feel like this doesn't need to be said, but please, please watch your little ones (human or otherwise), they're grabby and a lot can happen in 2 seconds. - may trigger TSA metal alarms. Let me explain, I had a small handful in pocket, and set off the metal detector alarm while I was checking in. The reason is because of the thicker material, and having a bunch, clumped together in your pockets will make it seem like you forgot to take your watch out of your pocket. I have since carried a tiny bundle of less than 7 and have not triggered any metal detector alarms since. - a little too sturdy. Every now and then when I'm in a rush but I need to adjust a few pins because they're pressing on a nerve or something, it's actually kind of difficult to pull them apart, the ridges are hooking onto each other too well. - pulled my hair out. These babies hold on tight, so be gentle in disentangling them from your hair. When you're not careful, it will pull out your hair, so don't yank.

If I could give these six stars, I would. I had a hairstylist in Amman, Jordan use these and I--loved--them. She gave me some extra and I have been hoarding them ever since. It's been over a year. For some reason, it only occurred to me recently to check Amazon for them. I found them!!! The brunette shade if perfect for me. They really hold. I am beside myself SO happy I found them. I highly recommend. They are the best bobby pins I've ever used.

Other than the price these Bobby pins are spectacular. You get enough for a lifetime supply and they actually will hold your hair in place till you need to take them out. They won’t fall out as they are the best Bobby pins on the face of this earth.

Truly the best Bobby pins!! I only use meta grip. They slide into the hair so well. They hold tightly and they come out well. The coating on them doesn’t lift or flake. Other Bobby pins get caught in the hair because of the coating lifting and flaking. I wish the blonde ones were just a little more natural looking. They’re a little too shiny and don’t hide very well, but other than that they’re the best!

These Bobby pins are my favorite! For the longest time I thought you could only find them at select beauty stores. Glad they’re on here! They grip my hair well and are the perfect size for updos. They do not break easily and hold my thin and fine hair very well !

I am very picky about bobby pins. For about 10 years I used the same two bobby pins in my hair every single day because I couldn't find any that were of that same quality anywhere. Drugstore ones are flimsy, bend out of shape easily, and don't hold tightly. Even specialty beauty stores didn't carry anything much sturdier. Then, I lost one of my treasured stalwarts. So I went on a search for bobby pins that were of that same quality, and my search led me to these MetaGrips. These are truly the Cadillac of bobby pins. The peak, the ultimate, the ones you search for in the jar, the ones you don't want to lend to a friend. They hold your hair tightly and they really, really don't bend out of shape. Even when you stick them into a bun, even if you have thick or curly hair, they hold like champs. They don't start to slip halfway through the day, they don't get knocked loose by a hat, they stay put and keep your hair in place for as long as you need them. Fall asleep with them in and your hair's barely moved by morning and those pins are still in place. Looking back, now I think that those two pins that I held on to for nearly a decade were earlier model MetaGrips. They had to be — nothing else I've seen comes close. The only downside to this 300-pack of them is that there's no way I'll ever need 300 of these babies. I could have ordered two pins and been all set. If you don't lose them, you'll never need to replace them. The bottom line is this: These are the best bobby pins out there. Trust me, I've looked.

Love these pins - a bit pricey but you get so many Iof them and they're such good quality and sturdy enough for my long, thick hair. Would never go back to regular pins!

No problems with this product the clips are great they do exactly what there supposed to. Nice speedy delivery too :) Great service just how all online shopping should be!

Disappointing! Nowhere as good as they used to be, definitely not worth $37 they are the same quality as Lady Jane bobby pins or any other bobby pin. Very disappointed! I have requested a refund.
