Had an emergency and I had to use a bottle instead of a toilet, dropped one of these tablets and came back home 16 hours later with my expectations low and whether or not the tablets would work. When I opened the bottle I was shocked with how well the tablets worked, there was absolutely no smell or odor coming from the urine. I could see little remnants of the tablet floating in my urine, I poured and flushed everything down the toilet and gave the bottle a little rinse and it was way better than my past experience before I owned the tablets and I had to put up with the foul odor. This tablet is very effective, keep in mind I only used one which is crazy. I am definitely happy with my purchase and I am glad to know it’s actually legit.

I put one tab in my wife's bedside toilet each night! They do a great job, unless you stick your head in to the bucket, the odor really is gone. I like the smell of the tabs. So does my grandson who stuck his head in the bucket of the bedside toilet, however, I am sure he will not do it again. I empty the bucket prior to bedtime, be sure the bucket is clean and dry before putting the tab in. This way, all I smell at bedtime is the tab which is much, much better than the alternative!

Works well

When you finally find quality-made urinals that cost 10 bucks or more each, this stuff will allow you to increase the mileage, so to speak. *** IMPORTANT *** You abslutely MUST empty and then thoroughly rinse out a urinal in a timely fashion whether you use this stuff or not. The longer it sits, the nastier it smells when you go to dump it. Plastic absorbs odors, and Odor Nuke helps keep your urinals from becoming too gross to soon. Weigh the cost of this product against the cost of replacing your urinals too often. For me, it's way less costly to use this and extend their usability. I feel bad for people in tightly scheduled delivery situations and such, and I can easily see winding up filling four urinals during one workday. I'm diabetic with a below-the-knee amputation and a very limited fixed income. Plus, I take furosemide (Lasix) for blood pressure and also to prevent edema in my other leg. I also take Jardiance. I drink about a gallon of water a day (do a little research on the lymphatic system). Quite often, the urge is an immediate issue. If I'm in bed when nature calls, transferring to the wheelchair and then to the toilet in the bathroom (IF it's available/unoccupied!) is too much of a risk. I keep three high-quality quart-sized urinals next to the bed, and often enough I wind up topping off all 3 before I get out of bed. Unlike being in the hospital, there's no one I can call to dump and rinse as needed. That has to wait until I get up. Odor Nuke saves me money.

I ordered Odor Nuke for a patient’s urinal that collects about 16-30 ounces overnight. The tablets did NOT dissolve and the odor-killing effect was weak to none. That may be because they were out-of-date. Odor Nuke says they are good for” a year and maybe two” after date of manufacture which, on their website is listed as 2019. But the date is not printed on the package itself. Reviewers have also complained about broken tablets which I did not experience. Next, the price, as other reviewers have pointed out, is costly—about $23 for approximately 100 tablets ( “approximately”) is the manufacturers’ wording at their website. That’s .23 cents per pill and if you use one a day, it adds up to $84 per year A much better (and less expensive) alternative is Polydent Anti-Bacterial 3-Minute Dental Cleanser. At only .05 cents a tablet you’ll save $66 per year and it does a much better job. It’ll eliminate the odor totally for 24-hours or more (Odor Nuke only claims efficacy for 6 hours) and has a mild, pleasant scent that’s not overpowering. Each tablet is small and individually packaged and 120 tablets are available on Amazon for about $6.00. Needless to say, I returned the Odor Nuke.
