Make sure you pay attention to the size when ordering --- but nice product!!
Make sure to pay attention to the size when you are ordering. I have a small dog, so the size I got works for her. But even though I KNEW the size, when I got it...I was still a little shocked that it looked so little. With that being said, I think that it's going to work well. It is exactly as pictured. My dog was a little hesitant at first about the grass, but I put her pee pad right next to it and a couple hours later she got on the grass and went poo. I was tickled and gave her lots of praise. Hope this will work better than just the pee pads - because my cat feels the need to try and "cover" the pads and then the dog can't use them...LOL (Animals...gotta love them!)

Keep it outside or train your dog to not play with it
My puppy used to accidentally pee at home but since I got this grass he never peed home. Of course he got excited about grass and used to play which wasn’t fun for me so I kept it on the balcony. Now my puppy stays next to the balcony door whenever he wants to pee. I love this product so much it’s easy to clean and my balcony is clean from dog pees. Only thing if you keep the grass indoor you need to train your pet to not play with it.

Lifesaver but smelly and hard to clean
With any dog waste system, it’s going to be smelly. These saved me from taking my puppy out multiple times a day. He’s trained to go inside and outside. I put a puppy Pad under the grass and change it every three days or so. I bought the replacement and wash and dry the grass every week to two weeks. It’s impossible to forget because of the smell. Here’s how to wash:•Buy a kitchen scrub brush from Walmart/dollar tree.•put the pad In tub and rinse with shower head on highest setting until water is clear (Flipping front and back)•scrub pad Front and back in circles with dawn dish washing liquid•rinse on highest setting•plug tub and fill with bleach and dawn, grass side down.•let sit for 10+min (I’ve left mine for hours it’s fine)•release water and scrub a bit more front and back.•rinse•one more quick scrub with dawn + long rinse•lastly I hang them to dry using a pant clothes hanger, ya know, the kind with two clasps on each end. I hang them on the metal rail in my shower where they can drip and dry.The process takes about an hour each week but it is scentless afterwards. Been doing this for 3 months and my original pad is good as new and scentless after cleaning.Super annoying to change the puppy pad under the grass. If you pick it up, pee runs out because it doesn’t absorb well, even with a clean pad under it. My pup won’t use it if it has poo on it. I bought a mini brush and dust pan from dollar tree and use it to pick up his waste and dispose of it immediately. The hour it takes to clean this thing is so worth not having to pay for pads as often and not have to spend time going outside multiple times a day.It took him a few weeks to learn to use it. Definitely didn’t take to it quickly like other users say. Also, he frequently misses the pad and I have to clean under it, so put on tile only.

Cheap
I ordered two of these and they aren't even matching. One had a black tray and a pad under the turf and the other had a grey tray on no pad, cheaper turf as well. They're very small as well. Luckily I have a small breed.

Dont bother
I had high hopes for this product. We recently rescued a 2 month old miniature pinscher that had been starved, physically abused, and that had been left out so long that she had frostbite. Living in the midwest, there's no way we were going to start sending her outside to do her business until after she puts on some weight and heals from the frostbite, so we started out with puppy pads all over the house, which looks terrible. I thought that this product would be a great way to make her set up more fashionable.Unfortunately, this product did not live up to my hopes. We had no problem with getting her to use it - in fact, she used it right away. We even put the puppy pad under the grass to make clean-up easier. However, a few things went terribly wrong. First of all, the grass is absorbent. That doesn't sound like a bad thing, but that means that when we washed it after use, it stayed wet until the next time. Not to mention, as we picked up the grass to clean it, it dripped pee that it had absorbed. The one time that she used it twice before we had a chance to clean it, her little paws were damp with her own urine from the precious use. Sure, it looked nice, but it was already way more work to upkeep than a pad (which just requires folding up, throwing away, and throwing a new one down). The second problem that we had was with the smell. As I already pointed out, we were in the habit of cleaning it after each use, so it wasn't just sitting around soaking. But, after about three days, it had such a strong smell of stale urine that our company commented on it and moved to a further seat. I was mortified, especially considering that we had been washing it obsessively. That was when I finally decided that I would look into other options, and this thing went in the trash.Tl/Dr - Grass drips urine when cleaning, gets water/urine on puppy's paws, and smelled bad enough (even after cleaning) that we couldn't stand it and threw it away.

Great for #Smalldogliving
Great product! I have one in my room and one in the foyer of the house for my 12 pound dog. He’s completely trained and goes on there if no one is home to take him out at the time. They are lifesavers!

Great for indoor dog
I love these. Wanted a solution so puppy didn’t have to go outside. This is it. Throw away the plastics between grass and tray, put potty pad under grass. Perfection. Scoop poop ASAP and dispose in toilet. Every 2-3 days I spray grass with Nature’s miracle advanced stain and odor eliminator, let it sit, hose off with water, let dry. I wipe the tray with Clorox wipes and replace potty pad. So easy and never smells.
