Vocabulary in Use Intermediate Student's Book with Answers

I liked everything. I disliked nothing.Thank you very much.

I had students whom I was tutoring who felt too challenged by the High Intermediate book, so they got this one (so I got one) and I'm working w/ it with them. It's more comfortable for them, yet still enough new material for them to learn from it. I have all levels of Vocabulary in Use, and I've been happy with them all. I like working w/ them, I like the progression of words and exercises. Good resource to enhance the lessons.

This is a very good vocabulary book to use with students. It is organized by subject and has well thought out exercises. Answers are in the back to you can check yourself as you go. I have used these books for many years and find that I keep using them.

This is a great product. Seriously I've been looking for something like this for a long time. It's easy to follow, understand and practice. I've also tried the Betty series and I found them quite complicated and overwhelming sometimes, but the approach of this autor is the best. I got both the "grammar in use" and "vocabulary in use" as well.

Very limited. Not sure what is the purpose of this book. Almost no context for the vocabulary presented... I have some other Cambridge series that are just excellent, but this one was quite a disappointment.

Bought this for persons who were learning English as a second language. Linguists in Afghanistan. It worked really well in moving them forward in their ability to translate for us. Recommended.
