My 2009 x300 pto won't engage. i checked the switches and the fuses and all looks fine. it was working fine all summer but now at 275 hours - it died

If the engine starts but the PTO won't engage, the device will not fix it. If the engine won't start due to hot shot or charging, this part may allow it to start.

Is there a warranty on this part? Made the mistake and tried to jump start my mower and blew the control module. Put a new battery in.

Not sure...generally these parts have a three year warranty. My mower is four old and the part was replaced once under warranty. The second time, I did what you did but bought the part and replaced it myself. If the warranty is in effect, they should replace it...worth a try.
