Jennifer Shaw Wolf keeps readers on their toes in another dark, romantic story of murder and secrets. Jaycee and Rachel were best friends. But that was before. Before that terrible night at the old house. Before Rachel shut Jaycee out. Before Jaycee chose Skyler over Rachel. Then Rachel is found dead. The police blame a growing gang problem in their small town, but Jaycee is sure it has to do with that night at the old house. Rachel's text is the first clue--starting Jaycee on a search that leads to a shocking secret. Rachel's death was no random crime, and Jaycee must figure out who to trust before she can expose the truth. Review: Follow the Clues - YA murder mystery that took timid shy Jaycee Draper and turned her into brave, diligent, resilient detective. All because her best friend was murdered. The way the story starts is sad then progresses into solving a case. I love following along Jayceeโs sleuthing journey finding clues her best friend Rachel Sanchez left behind only Jaycee knew the relevance. Jaycee learns about her flaws, faith and who to trust. So good. Definitely worth reading. I purchased this book as a gift for a friend but wanted to read prior to gifting her, her favorite book. Iโm glad I read this. Review: Read it in a day - Wow. She knows how to weave a good mystery. But, I have the mind of a detective. When Jaycee got the note saying The Cross Is The Key, or something along those lines, I immediately suspected Eric, Evan, and Skyler. I loved this book so much and I've been wanting to read it since I saw it in our school book fair. ( and it was even better for me since I had an ex-boyfriend named Skyler.) But over all it was a great book, and I only read it so quickly because I read ridiculously fast and it was such a great book!!!

Starts Fast. Well written. Twist ending.
I absolutely loved this book. Very well written. One of my top favorite mystery novels. Never could have guessed the ending. Also it starts fast so you donโt have to force yourself read the beginning to get into the book.

One of those you can't put down!
This book is one of those books you can finish in one go. I loved the characters and the twists and turns of the story always made me want to keep reading. It is well written, flowing so smoothly that you feel you're there with these characters and living in this small town with them. It definitely engulfs you, dissolving the world around you. You become the main character trying to figure out what happened, all while being swept up in a young love everyone craves! Though written for younger readers, this book is exciting for any age. On top of that, older readers, like myself, will feel young again! I absolutely recommend this book, no hesitation to purchase needed. I'll keep an eye out for more from this author!
