Holding up well
I must admit, I was skeptical when I first bought this compressor, thinking that it might not last, being so small and light. But it lives its life in my backpack, for when I go dirt-biking, and I constantly use this compressor to top off tires. It is holding up very well. *Update - I still have the same 2 compressors: the first one I bought for my K1200LT, the second for my backpack, which is the one that gets used very often. I use it to air up and down, when going from on-road to off-road (or vice-versa) on my dual-sport; I've also used it when changing out innertubes from flats. It's also great to air up bicycle tires for my mountain bike, because my bigger compressors are sometimes a little too fast....this one allows you to pay more attention to the tire, while setting a bead....good stuff! The screw-on Schrader valve connector ensures a good seal, the short hose and cable helps keep everything compact for stowage, but is long enough to reach both ends of most motorcycles. I think the best testimony is whether I would purchase it again, if it were lost or stolen.... yes, I would. It's proven to be reliable and ticks all the right boxes for a motorcyclist.

Excellent design for its purpose with a minor flaw
The purpose of this small compressor is for an emergency or occasional supply of air for motorcycles, bicycles, etc. A piece of paper included in the package explicitly states not to use it for car or truck tires. It's not designed to run for long periods, or be used a lot. Its purpose is to be there when you need it, and hopefully you don't. If you use this frequently I doubt it will work for long, but that is just an educated guess. I deflated the front tire of my motorcycle and it filled it from fully empty to 36 PSI in about 3 and a half minutes. That's your typical sportbike size 17 inch wheel. Now that I know it works I put it in my bike's trunk and hopefully will never need to unzip the pouch again. PROS: Compact Lightweight Comes complete with protective carry pouch and a variety of powering connection options Power cord is about as a long as a motorcycle so you can reach either end. Has an LED on top to assist you with connecting to the tire at night. Has a yellow pushbotton to turn the compressor on and off. The female connector that screws onto your tire's fill valve has a threaded metal insert. Its not loud. Relative to its tiny size it inflated my tire pretty quickly. CONS: The gauge is useless or soon will be. On each stroke of the compressor it jumps 10-15PSI and then returns to the tire air pressure reading. So when you run the compressor the needle is a blur like a fan blade. When I first connected it to my tire it read 36 PSI, the correct pressure. After one cycle of deflating and inflating using the little compressor, which must be thousands of cycles of shaking the gauge needle around, the needle showed 6 LBS low with the pump off. If you are familiar with air tools and supply you will recognize they failed to place an aperture between the gauge and supply, or else didn't execute it properly. Rather than modify the pump to protect the gauge I'm just carrying my own. Don't rely on this gauge to tell you what the real tire pressure is. Overall a nearly perfect design for an emergency air pump.

Compact compressor
Great little compressor fits battery tender, 12 volt dc plug and clip ons. Air hose hookup could be longer .

Highly DO NOT RECOMMEND this product.
This product was purchased as an "insurance policy" for the time in the future that my Honda Goldwing would need an air boost on the side of the road. That day came last night. A "yard service" trailer ahead of me dumped a bunch of debris in my lane and I ended up hitting a piece of wood, apparently with a nail in it. I was able to patch the hole using my plug kit, but when I pulled out the mini-air compressor, it worked for about 10 seconds before sounding like it came apart internally. Essentially leaving me on the side of a two-lane country road at night. Based on my experience, this unit is a total P.O.S. and should NOT be trusted to work. Letting me down on the side of the road, at night because of "less than ideal" workmanship is enough to sour me on this company's entire product line. This is only my report based on my personal experience using this product.

Functional
Purchased this for a cross-country motorcycle trip. This little compressor worked as advertised and I used it several times to add air to my tires. Its biggest drawback is the shortness of the inflation hose which caused the compressor to dangle while it was working. As others have noted, it vibrates like crazy when it's working, so I found it necessary to hold it in my hand to keep it from beating itself to death on the wheel and further straining the short hose. I also found that the pressure gauge varied as the unit worked, so relied on my manual pressure gauge to accurately determine the PSI in my tires. In terms of putting air in a tire, this product worked fine. A slightly longer hose and a clip on air chuck (vice screw on) would elevate my rating. Two other usage notes: I initially plugged this into my battery tender cable...worked fine but eventually caused the three amp in-line fuse on the cable to go (probably draws more than three amps). Also, start your engine to charge the battery if you're going to be putting more than one or two PSI in...this really draws on the battery.

Great for occasional use
I bought this as a compact, emergency compressor for my motorcycle. I like the compact size and the fact the power cord fits the Battery Tender lead that I already had installed on the battery. The unit fits nicely in the tailpiece of my motorcycle along with the tool roll. I gave it a test and it seemed to work just fine. The directions indicate that the unit draws 6 amps, whereas the standard Battery Tender fuse is only 3 amps. After a few minutes running the Battery Tender fuse blew - so heads up, you may want to carry a spare or use the alligator clips to connect directly to the battery.

Awesome little problem solver
Works great for those situations where a flat tire can ruin your day quickly. Use it on car and bike tires. Priceless item when you have a flat in the middle of nowhere. Saved me a couple of times.

Does the job, but...
The mini air compressor does the job perfectly fine when it comes to pumping air into your motorcycle tire, however, the display is absolutely not accurate. You will constantly have to double check with a pressure gauge. I'm using both, a digital and a standard pressure gauge in combination with the mini compressor. If you need a quick fill up or while doing some maintenance in your garage, it does the job just fine. It's small enough to be a backup on the road while traveling. You can easily connect it to your battery or SAE connection on your motorcycle.
