Very nice bluetooth headphones for the price
This is a review for an item I paid for with my own money, I was not asked to nor in any way compensated for this review.I purchased this as a replacement for my Skullcandy Uproar and Logitech H800 and may use them as reference. I stumbled upon these during a deep multi-country Amazon search referencing the Lasmex HB-65 Bluetooth headset. What's in the box:1. Form fitting protective case2. Headphones3. Braided USB charging cable4. Braided 3.5mm to 3.5mm audio cable5. Instructions and documentationBuild quality:The cans themselves appear to be made of extruded and milled aluminum with a very nice soft-touch plastic finish. The frames appear to be finished in that same soft-touch plastic finish with steel inserts for the headband. They weigh about 190g (6.7oz) according to my food scale so these are not lightweight cans. the hinges to rotate and fold these are metal, and lock open with a positive click. 5-starsFit and comfort:I've got a wide head with relatively big ears that lay fairly flat against my head and these did a good job of covering and sealing with them. Understand, these cans don't completely enclose your ears. I also wear glasses so I can't really tolerate wearing large headsets like these for more than a few hours at a time, so all my perspective will be from short to medium term use. The "protein leather" pads are REALLY soft. I don't know how long they're going to last but they are easily removable and replaceable whether the manufacturer makes the pads available separately is another matter. 4-starsFunctionality: The controls are quite basic: Just 3 buttons and a cable jack. A button to power-on/off the headphones that doubles as a call pickup/end/pause/resume button and a button for volume up and volume down, no track skip or FF/RW. There is supposed to be a microphone for hands-free, but I haven't had a chance to review that functionality. 4-starsStyling: Thankfully it's not of gamer aesthetics with pulsing RGB lighting and gaudy bits of cheap plastic. It's basic black with silver machined metal trim. The previous HB-65 model had a flat, machined face on the earpieces which I found quite attractive, but these have a convex face with a piano-black finish...yes, fingerprint magnets. 4-starsSound quality:They sound good. I'm getting older so I can't rave about their dynamic range any more, but I get good bass response without it being over-powered. The midrange and trebles are fairly even and for the most part natural sounding. Note the sound quality changes slightly between Bluetooth and wired mode. The sound level is a bit lower in wired mode, but the sound feels more "even" and smoother or softer. Yeah, they've got a nice warm sound quality when wired. Unlike a lot of those cheap $20 bluetooth speakers, You won't have the problem with uneven sound loudness between the left and right cans. I would recommend this set of headphones for general music and audio listening like podcasts, audible books. I've been using these to listen to a whole assortment of music from Gregorian chants, orchestral, pop, rock and podcasts, and they sound good enough that I can pick out mistakes by musicians and flaws from my own MP3 conversion process. Note, these do not have Active Noise Cancellation, but I bought these specifically for that reason. 4.5 starsQuirks: They have an interesting circuit design where when you plug in the 3.5mm cable into the headphone, the Bluetooth pauses whatever you're listening to and turns off the power to the Bluetooth. If you have the cable plugged in, the Bluetooth will not power on.Final Words: Overall, I'd rate this item 4.5 stars. It feels like a solid product for the price. At first I thought it was a bit expensive for what it offers, but it comes with quality accessories and it looks like the manufacturer put effort into not cutting too many corners, an important factor when dealing with these lesser-known Chinese brands.

Performs as ad....good headphones
Lasmex is not a big brand like beats or other headphones I had, but at this price, it is worth to own. I bought it for my morning hiking time, I am satisfied with its sound and good performance of batter life. If your looking for a solid wireless/bluetooth sports headphones in this price range look no further.

No active noise cancellation for music as claimed
These on-ear (NOT over-ear) headphones have poor noise isolation and no active noise cancellation for music. There is no significant difference in ambient noise with the headphones on or off the ears and no difference at all between the headphones powered on vs. not powered on. The cVc 6.0 “Clear Voice Capture” technology from Qualcomm works only with calls and even then only for the benefit of the person on the other end of the call.Audio quality is about as expected for the weight of the headphones and the 40 mm drivers, okay for calls and listening to audiobooks and perhaps even for casual listening to music for many but unacceptable to audiophiles. The bass is muddy and is especially intolerable in the lower ranges or at higher volumes. The headphones are lightweight at 180 g or 6.3 oz. and fold for storage in the included case, which has a molded interior that fits these or very similar headphones only. The ear cups swivel in all directions and the headband doesn’t exert too much pressure on the ears. The ear pads have a 3 in. diameter with a 1 3/8 in. opening. Headband comfort would benefit from thicker padding and the arms are difficult to adjust but stay in place once sized properly and will loosen up some with use. The controls are easy to use and the Bluetooth wireless connects instantly.Shenzhen Lasmex Industrial Co. is a Chinese company apparently masquerading as a German company. These particular headphones are comparable to headphones from other brands that occupy a much lower price range.

Not Over the Ear Headphones
These are OK, but I don't know how long they will last. The buttons seem a bit fragile. The sound is fine if you are not an audiophile. It didn't cancel out noise effectively and I found that the ear piece was a bit small. They didn't completely cover the ears. It was weird, because I don't have big ears and I've used other over the ear headphones that fit comfortably. I believe these are actually on the ear headphones. The unit charged relatively quickly and held the charge. Again, these are OK, but I would rather pay a little more for better quality.

Just not good enough
I wanted to like these—I really did. But I feel a bit . . . underwhelmed. I was excited to be there for the kickoff of a new hifi brand. And I’ve always had a penchant for German engineering. The sound quality is pretty good. Bluetooth hookup is easy with most devices. But none of this makes headlines. These phones are just okay.I should have looked more carefully to see that these are, despite the description on Amazon, on-the-ear phones—and thus rather uncomfortable on my less than tiny ears. Moreover, they don’t block out any ambient noise (unless you raise the volume to unacceptable levels). I would recommend spending a bit more any buy a decent set of the new Sennheiser Momentum phones. They close out most intrusive sounds, are over-the-ear, and the cans aren’t too tight.Let me say, however, on behalf of these new Lasmex phones: the packaging is spectacular.

Great sound quality but not great for sports
If you're looking for good sound quality headphones for under $100 that are also bluetooth, then these are perfect. They are small and perfect for traveling too.Pros:Small sizeGreat sound qualityWired optionConnect easilyLong battery lifeCons:Not that great for sports. I tried to do my usual circuit training which includes bike crunches, leg ups, etc. and they kept slipping off. It's okay though.May hurt your ears after long use (2-3 hours).I'll try to update after a while. I hope they last long.
