Works great
This is being used for critical infrastructure use and it works great. Very solid and reliable. We will be buying these in the future. I wish I could try their other products when the needs arise.

Operating great for months
It's just a PDU, so not much can wrong. Minor nit: I bought this one because of the power usage meter. Mine stays stuck on 00. I suspect the meter is a stairstep reading, and if I loaded the PDU more I'd see something.

Units work as described and are the perfect fit for my application.
I’m not sure what’s up with some of the negative feedback on these units. Per the NEC, you can’t place a continuous load (defined as 3 or more hours of operation) on an over current protection device. The 24A max loading on these devices is there to protect would-be home electricians from violating the 80% loading rule, which = 24A on a 30A circuit. I’m not a licensed electrician, but worked for one for many years. If you’re loading an OCPD to 100%, both the wire and breaker are going to get hot- eventually leading to a trip condition. These protections are there to keep you from burning a house down. If you actually need a full continuous 30A, you either need two circuits- or a sub-panel. There are *very few* exceptions to this guidance, and almost nobody meets them (they also require a breaker rated for continuous load). The hardware works fine and does exactly as it’s supposed to do. Happy, and safe customer.

Solidly built / quality hardware
The: Tripp Lite Metered PDU, 20A, 12 Outlets (5-15/20R), 120V, L5-20P / 5-20P, 110-127V Input, 15 ft. Cord, 1U Rack-Mount Power (PDUMH20) black; was the best choice for my custom built Portable UPS Cart project. It paired well with the 2500 watt, 120 volt, 20 amp hour inverter, with built-in transfer switch, that I needed to use for uninterrupted backup power to several devices. I especially chose a PDU with built-in amp meter readout display for monitoring the connected loads. The unit seems very well built and I already have an acquired confidence in Tripp Lite products that I currently own.

Solid but the UI is lacking.
For the base functionality of delivering power to my home lab this guy is great with plenty of ports and no problems. I am still not sold on the back of rack design but this seems to be the standard so no points off there. Where this struggles is the UI and inaccuracy of the meters. I found that under 500W simply is not even registered and power usage tracking remains skewed even at multiple kilowatts. In short do not count on an accurate reading from this unit.

This thing is fantastic.
Slick, professional PDU for serious use with expensive equipment. It's solid, well built, looks good and my stuff doesn't catch on fire, because it's not built by careless slobs. The metering is large and clear, you can read it clear across the room. They say there's a particular joy you get from using nice tools, I've found the same thing applies to nice equipment. It's just better. It's not particularly inexpensive, but it's worth every penny.

Plenty of Plugs, Works Great
This is an updated review. I had originally stated that the meter always displayed "0", regardless of what was plugged in. But apparently, I was just not drawing enough to push it. I plugged in more devices today and started seeing the meter display change.Overall, I think this is a great PDU. Tripp Lite has always been good to me and this is no exception. It fits perfectly in my half-rack and has plenty of plugs to power everything within it.

Worth the money
The media could not be loaded. Works as described, it does move power around when needed. Works great over a year no issues. Thanks
