Installed easily works as advertised
Installed in about an hour. Cutting the OEM 2" filler tube was the toughest part. You need a sharp razor knife. I installed a clear fuel filter in line in the bed of the truck so I can monitor if it is getting clogged. Bought it for 4 bucks at an auto parts store. The fuel tube that comes with kit is 5/16". I am using a tank I got used and worked hard with gallons of white vinegar to get it clean. The vinegar cuts the rust that was in the tank. The valve on the adaptor goes on top of the truck filler tube. You need about a 5/8" drill to drill hole for the tube to go through the truck bed to the valve. I used a 1/2" drill and a carbide rotary tool to open up the hole so it won't cut the fuel hose. I filled the truck tank and auxilary tank. Opened the valve and I had no leaks or overflow of the filler spout. I ran a vent tube down from the top of tank through the truck bed to avoid diesel fumes inside the canopy. I thought about putting in an electric solenoid valve, but a this point I don't think I need it. Operating the valve on the auxilary tank is no big deal when you want to use the fuel. Happy with the set up. Beats spending $300 or more on a pump when I don't need diesel in any other equipment.

Product works as intended, but hose clamps were wrong size
As another reviewer stated, the hose clamps that come in this kit for "1999-2010 Chevy/GMC" were not big enough to fit around the outside diameter of the filler tube on my 2006 Duramax. Also, there was no grommet to place in the hole in the truck bed to help protect the hose from the sharp edge. I had to make a special trip to the hardware store to pick up these missing items. It was only about $5 for these parts, but still was inconvenient and should have been included in the "Kit". Other than that the product seems to work well. I like the fact that there is a check valve at the filler tube end to prevent over-filling the factory tank.

Easy Install, good product but hose clamps to small.
Easy Install, good quality fuel hose, shutoff valve is aluminum with thin handle but should work. A small brass ball-valve would be a nice upgrade. The supplied hose clamps for the filler hose were about a half-inch to small for my Chevy 08 3500HD with 34gal tank, when fully opened, they would not slide onto fuel hose, when wrapped around fuel hose, the end of the strap would not reach the screw mechanism. I had clamps on hand so install was not an issue. The hose clamps for the gravity feed line were correct size. The picture is stock photo, there are no rubber hose pieces supplied nor are they needed for this model year. The filler hose adapter fits inside existing filler hose. I would recommend to others and advise to have hose clamps on-hand. In the picture this install kit is on the right. (The left adapter is the return line from the lift pump).

Easy Installation, Simple Operation
My kit for my 2001 2500HD didn't have the 2 sleeves shown in the photo. Very easy to install. I completed the entire process in 65 minutes including a couple interruptions. In my situation I had to remove the 3 screws that hold the fill tube behind the filler door and drop the neck down in order to complete the cut of the hose. My filler hose had a plastic pipe inside the rubber fill tube that apparently dumps the fuel to the center of the tank. Not sure the benefit of that but it added a few minutes to the install time. I had over 3.5 feet of fuel line left over. I would suggest that you clean the outside of the fuel filler hose before making the cut. Mine was covered with dried mud and the stuff you find in cow pastures. There's a small ball crimped into the bottom of the elbow. When the factory fuel level drops, the ball drops and fuel flows into the stock tank. When the factory tank is full, the ball rises and blocks the flow from the auxiliary tank. Very simple and uncomplicated operation, sort of similar to a shop vac. The key to success is to mount the elbow as close to horizontal as you can. After installation was complete, I drove to town and filled the factory tank then put 12 gallons in the auxiliary tank to test for leaks. I drove around for a few miles then drove home and let it sit with the valve open for a few hours. No leaks. My only regret is that I didn't do this years ago. Based on my average mpg when towing my 5th wheel I should now have a range of over 500 miles

Works good
2006 gmc 2500 HD, works and installs very easy. Wish they would explain a little bit of how the sysyem works with the valves that are suppied. No need for elect control valve with this system. The spring loaded valves won't let it over fill your truck tank. I installed a 12 volt valve and switch on mine anyway, so that I can control when and how much it fills the truck tank( which you can do with the manual valve that comes included in the kit, you just have to turn it off manualy).

Worked as designed.
Package arrived in nice neat plastic container. Only issue was that the hose had been folded to fit and kinked the hose. No issues, just had to let it rest in the sun and expand for a few hours. You will need an elbow fitting to come from the tank to the valve. The elbow would be a nice adder to the kit. Also, a rubber grommet designed for the hose would be nice to place in the truck bed penetration which would then protect the hose from rubbing against the sharp edge.

Easy install
First I would like to thank all the people that answered my question you were most helpful. The kit took me less than an hour to install on my 2007 duramax it appears the company addressed the "too small" bands because the ones I received were plenty big enough. It was an easy install I had enough room to use a hacksaw instead of a box cutter which eliminated some time the price is about average of all the kits so it's good I would recommend this kit. It would be nice though if they would throw in a rubber grommet as you will need that so the fuel line doesn't get cut but thats not that much at any hardware store.
