DR Strings Alexi Laiho Signature Guitar Strings - Medium Heavy

My initial impression was how great these strings felt, I've previously used NYXL 11-56's and they feel very similar. My only complaint with the 11-56 was i wasn't able to bend the high e string as much as i wanted to so i opted for a lower gauge on the higher strings, and man am i glad i did these strings ring out great and i have been using them for the better part of a week now and can say that these will definitely be my main strings! Ordered 4 more and will order more in the future! Keep in mind though that these are what Alexi likes so they may not suite you, other then that i high recommend trying these strings out! Edit:I am going on about a month using these strings now and my review definitely is staying at 5 stars. If you play in D standard and Drop C a lot these are the best strings you can get in my opinion, these strings also last a good while. Bottom line, I can not recommend for people to try these strings enough, if you're on the fence about it give it a try!

Day 1- They finally locked in place... Got them in Drop C# and shall i say, these strings can take a beating. I swap between C# and C because I play Children of Bodom and Black Veil Brides... And these strings don't disappoint. They stay in tune, they are easy to play, and they bend very easily.Day 2- No Problems. No disappoint...A week later, and I gotta say, these are my strings right here. If i need a pair for my other guitar... Or something happens to this pair... I know what to order. And the order was only $15 with shipping. Great price considering Regular Ernie Ball strings are $12 at the music store in town.Thanks for the wonderful product... 5 stars for sure.

I have a very new found love for these strings, the round core is the way to go. It gives it a very tight sound making it much easier to articulate your right hand picking. My triplet picking improved just by using these. I tune to drop B and pair these with my Blackout pickups which makes for a deadly combination. The coating also keeps them sounding fresh for quite some time even for those that practice 6 pluss hours a day. So my point is this, there is no reason you should not buy these strings!!!

Truly, these strings are awesome. I use them on my ESP ALX-200 (Alexi's ESP model) and these strings are absolutely perfect (duh, they're Alexi strings). They last really long, do great with drop tuning, bending, tremolo bar stuff, etc. Highly recommend!

I have always loved DR strings, but would often have to buy multiple packs to get the gauges that I wanted. these are perfect for my style of play (thrash metal/melodic death metal)

Everything I wanted was shipped nicely. I have no complaints, although somewhere in the transfer the box got crushed a little bit, but the product was fine.

they are not your average string. i play drop c with these on the alexi greeny and they are amazing. the tension is made to feel like standard tuning but your actually in drop c. you must stretch them or they will go out of tune(like all strings do on floyd roses). these are made for drop c so dont expect alot for other tunings. remember these are what alexi likes. not what everybody likes... great strings. best strings for lead guitar that i know of.

Had high hopes for the strings but honestly didnt like the feel of the strings under my fingers and they go out of tune alot easier than they should no matter what tuning I'm playing
