Rubbermaid Commercial Products Slim Jim Plastic Rectangular Trash/Garbage Can with Venting Channels, 23 Gallon, Gray

This recycling bin is exactly what I wanted but didn't know I could buy one. I thought these only came from your local recycling organization. Imagine my joy to find it on Amazon.The seller's information is correct (I mean, it's Rubbermaid, so of course it is.) so I'm not going to repeat that information. The facts are I needed a sturdy, nonleaking recycling bin for my kitchen. One that was narrow and tall. This does the trick and I love that I could choose from various colors. It holds about a week's worth of recycling for the two of us. I especially appreciate the carrying handles on the bin. They are smooth to hold and balanced just right for me to easily carry the bin. Because of its sturdiness, I can take this bin straight to our car then take it to the recycling center for our once a week visit. (No curbside recycling where I live.) If and when it needs to be cleaned we can spray it outside with the hose then let it dry in the sun. This bin a tough and I expect it last for a good many years. My only complaint is the cost but let's be honest. Rubbermaid IS quality and you get what you pay for.

This is the perfect can for a workshop, church, meeting hall or a large family. Washes up easily. Bags are easy to find. Empty it is light weight. The slim style fits in so many spots. We have three of them and all the best we have tried. You'll wish you'd grabbed one sooner.

Love these small trash cans. Slim so they are very easy to find place to slide them in. I have 3 all around my workshop. Durable construction.

This is a very nice trash can for my kitchen. It’s sturdy and tall, fitting perfectly with the 32-inch trash bags I usually buy. It holds a lot of trash, which is great for a busy kitchen, and the durability really stands out. Definitely a solid choice for a high-capacity trash can.

Had this for years. Great design. Works perfectly in apartment closets as a large bin with a small footprint.

I bought this to use on our back deck as a recycle bin for bottles and cans. I got the can in beige and the hinged lid in black (https://www.amazon.com/dp/B001GXG2F2?psc=1&ref=ppx_yo2ov_dt_b_product_details) and together they do not look like a recycle or garbage can at all. It blends in well next to my cream-colored house and black bbq cover. The hinged lid is well worth the extra cost. It attaches securely to the can holding the garbage bag in place and the lid even snaps shut, so no critters can get into it. The lid attaches so securely to the can that rather than pry it off every time it needs to be emptied, I just pick up the whole thing and dump it into my big recycle can. It's amazingly lightweight for such a sturdy can. It wipes down nicely too. I'm very pleased with this purchase.

I was unsure about the look of these cans, but now that everything is set up and functioning, we love it.Especially for smaller children, having the labels on them is super helpful. ur issue was having the recycles in small bags that would add up and clutter the floor, or have to be taken out daily, these 23 gallon cans really solve the clutter issue. For the garbage, we had the largest simple human can and it was wonderful. However, having both the garbage and recycle in the same sized cans and attached with wheels where you can just easily move them to clean under and around them is a game changer. BTW, the simple human bags size code Y, fit them perfect, so we are using those for the garbage side. I've always liked the thickness of Simple Human bags and we are not at a loss by using a different can. You do have to pull it to get it around the top of the can but that's a plus as it is nice and tight, where it will stay in place. We used the closing lid for the garbage as well to keep the potential garbage smell at bay...not sure the other would be as effective in that way, but having the flaps works GREAT for recycling!
