E-Z Algebra (Barron's Easy Way)

I am using this book to teach myself algebra. Compared with other similar books, this one teaches you mathematical concepts and equations with stories. It teaches you from equations and negative numbers to proofs by mathematical induction and imaginary and complex numbers. I love the story line with algebra in the book. Great way to learn or review algebra. I would highly recommend this book to everyone who likes or loves math.

Great for brushing up and focusing on problem areas of study. My daughter referenced this book several times last school year. I even referenced it to aid her.

I use this book all the time with my students, both in classroom and in private tutoring. Barron's workbooks are straightforward and helpful, easy to follow, and easy to learn from. This book makes algebra simple enough for even the most dazed and confused to be able to understand!!!

Writing from parents prospective , based on what I saw and what my sons feedback is (He’s taking college algebra ) The layout and graphics are engaging and easy to recall .Theres self testing , practice , clear explanations-He found it helpful to use in addition to his class notes and for studying for exams ( honing in on specific areas of weakness) I definitely would suggest letting your student take a look at format and content before ordering . I’m glad I did this - there were sections he needed to get from other books in this series - It doesn’t necessarily contain exactly what your particular course covers . The price being a great deal considering textbook costs.. Also, he loved the separately available “quick study guides “ for binder .

Great book for learning or relearning Algebra. The practice questions are extremely helpful as well.

Bought a bunch of these to review for an exam to become a math teacher. Very helpful.

This is the second copy of this book that I have purchased. It is a great book to simplify algebraic concepts, and is an excellent self -tutorial. I recomend this for kids/adults learning algebra or for anyone having problems with this math subject.

Transaction perfect. Book just as good as the Calculus one (the first I'd encountered). Great concept. Highly recommend it for anyone needing a little extra help, wanting to refresh, or - in particular - learning on one's own.
