I’m pleasantly surprised with this product. The results are subtle, which is what I wanted. I used this to lighten my roots between hair appointments and it works. I used my blow dryer and also applied some product before heading out for a walk in the sun. I’m not sure which activates the product the best.Easy to use. I hate the scent.Overall, I’m pleased.

I’ve always been a natural girl, when it comes to hair color, and never really dyed my hair, other than the natural bleaching from the sun. Then comes age and greying and my decision to not, yet, be grey! I researched products and feel so lucky to have found the dpHUE line, out of the gate. I used the dpHUE root touch up through the pandemic. When I returned to my hairstylist she told me my hair looked “professionally done.” INFO: I’ve been coloring my hair,, with this product, using a darker brown than my normal hair color and recently added the blonding brush that add highlights and I was simply amazed, with the results, as you can see in my photo…and this is 55 year old hair! ♥️♥️♥️ Excellent product, with only downsize is the smallquantity for the price!

Wow, this is excellent. It's like I went to the salon for highlights, but I was in complete control of where they were placed and how noticeable they are. I could literally see my hair lightning as I heated it with the blow dryer.

I purchased to add a few blond highlights to my light brown hair. My hair naturally lightens in the sun; however, I saw no difference after multiple targeted applications of this product followed by extensive time in the sun. I ultimately purchased Sun Bum lightener and have had great results.

This will leave your roots BRASSY!! turns your hair orange and it’s hard to level it out at your next color.

i just used this product due to the california "corona virus" home stay: can't see my hair dresser... I have very very blond hair..same as Kristin's..its my signature blond color... I was very afraid to try this product ...however.. results were fabulous ! I used just around my hair line.. it did NOT turn orange, or purple... it was soft, and a sweet " new york blond color" that I always ask for... almost bleach blond ... but not too much! i am very impressed! of course, she caters to all us southern california blonds! thank you!!

I wouldn't call this a "blonding" brush. I have dirty blonde hair with highlights and wanted to use this in between treatments. It left me with an undesirable brassy hue instead.

Love DPHue products usually but this has been a nightmare! I have naturally dirty blonde hair that has been highlighted. The first several times I used this product it did as advertised. After the 3rd or 4th time the hair that the product had been applied to turned a brassy orange color. I went to the hair salon in attempt to correct but even with professional coloring you can still see strands of the brass. My stylist made me promise to never use the product again!

It makes a difference in your hair but the toning aspect doesn't seem to work whatsoever. You have to accept that your hair will have an orange tinge. So you may as well just use straight up hydrogen peroxide which costs next to nothing (that's what the main ingredient is of this stuff anyways).

Doesn’t work well, lightens hair the slightest bit, even with repeating the process.
