KitchenAidSilicone Basting Spoon, Aqua Sky

It is exactly what I've been looking for. I love this spoon: it's very convenient to use both for cooking and serving; it's durable, it's super easy to clean, it's solid, it's ergonomic, it has a proper length and it has a very useful oval shaped ladle with a flexible tip, and it's very pretty. It is priced very reasonably (I've purchased it when the price dropped), and it does worth the money. It arrived quickly, too.

This basting spoon is excellent for when you need something larger than a serving spoon, but not a round ladle. The oval shape makes it easy to scoop & pour sauces/gravies. It has a solid feel, yet the bowl part has a bit of flexibility. It has a nice weight to it & doesn’t stain, even when used in tomato sauce. Great to use, wonderful color, & easy to clean. KitchenAid quality at an excellent price.

Pros:- Silicone is safe for use in all of our pans without damaging them.- Cup portion is a generous size for scooping/ladling, has a good shape/curvature for getting into the edges of pans, and has strong but slightly flexible edges.- Can go in the dishwasher when needed.- Feels incredibly sturdy - I don't foresee this wearing out any time soon.- Has a hole for hanging, if you store your utensils that way.Cons:- I actually don't have any for this product, at least not yet!I'm very glad I sprung for KitchenAid instead of getting a cheaper, unknown off-brand product.

I recently decided to switch out my nylon utensils for silicone ones and I am so glad I did. Not only is this spoon safe to use on non-stick, but it also very good at getting all of the sauce or gravy out of a pan in much the same way as a rubber spatula. I love the aqua color, too. The length is also helpful in keeping me a bit of distance away from the flame of my gas stove. Perfect!

The color is great, the silicone is good. The metal plate the days Kitchenaid came off.

Bought to replace a black plastic spoon during the Great Black Plastic Utensil Freakout of 2025. Maybe that wasn't as dire as initially reported but really better to avoid plastic utensils regardless. This is better than the Target housebrand spoon it replaced, maybe a bit expensive for ONE spoon but whatever now I have this spoon and I don't expect to need another one so it's fine.

Almost dropped a lot of money on a Le Creuset spoon. Ran into this as I was checking out. This spoon is sturdy but supple on the end. Doesn't seem like metal will ever come through the silicon - as some suggest. It easily scoops the last drops out of the pot. After liking this one so much, I purchased "KitchenAid Silicone Ladle, 13 inches". So far, I use this one more because I haven't made soup. The ladle holds maybe twice as much and will come in handy as well. I find that silicon is much easier to clean than other materials. The price was right on these.

I have been searching for a few years now, for the perfect for my needs, spoon, and this one is it! I needed a non stick, with a deeper than almost all of the ones out there have. I have bought several over the years, I hoped would work, but none did. The bowl is always too shallow. This is The only one I have ever found that is exactly right! I am so pleased! And I love the lovely blue color, as well as the ease in cleaning. I can't recommend it highly enough to all you serious cooks! You will surely love it, as it is perfect !
