Great Starter Guitar
Amazing price. Great beginner guitar for my Granddaughter who "thinks" she would like to learn to play the guitar. For the price I paid, I won't have broke the bank if she decides it's not her thing after all.

Manufacturing fault
Poor manufactoring, received a guitar with 'the nut' as shown in images - glued not within the groove and not flush with the neck however on an angle - therefore resulting in the strings having little clearance to the fretboard obviously causeing an unpleasant tinnie buzzing of the strings when played. What furthers the problem is that the saddle is too low - again reducing string clearance. As you can imagine with already low string clearance using a capo is out of the question as obviously the higher the fret you place your capo the worse the buzzing and unwanted string contact - even just on open notes. What furthers the problem is that you cannot adjust the action to alter the bow of the neck, meaning you cannot alter the string clearance to the fretboard and are destined to the twang and buzzing of strings making contact with the frets that you aren't even playing. Other notes on build quality: The strings are of low quality and loosen out of the tuning pegs when tightening to tune. Under the tension of the strings the bridge is tilted pulling on the flimsy soundboard effecting the bow angle, which in turn effects the tuning and playability of the guitar - the guitar is manufactured from a choice and thickness of woods resulting in a light and predictably fragile product with a cheap feel, to match the price tag - which is fine if it is playable and put together properly, but with being cheap overall obviously the assembly of the already cheap parts is rushed and not quality controlled properly. It was a gamble at £30 but considering the frustration it is at little surprise a regrettable purchase and I would advise others to invest a little more money on a more reputable product rather than buy twice.

The strings loosen so easily and looks and feels very cheap it’s scratches easily not ideal but it’s ok it your an occasional player

I don't really get all the negative comments here
A guitar this price needs new strings anyways. But the strings that came with it were alright and did not break like others mentioned. There were old so maybe but still buy new strings! The guitar itself is pretty usable. The frets don't poke you, the fretboard is good and most of all the strings stay in tune. Although with nylon strings they dont remain in tune for the first few days. That's not the guitars fault. For £20 it's a big win.
