I had some plastic clips to hold weight on my barbell. The weight plates were always sliding so my bar never felt level. The collars are a little tight, but they work fine. They make a huge difference in how the weight feels. The plates are no longer sliding so the bar feels level. I'm sure that the collars will loosen over time.

i know the description states clearly these are not designed for threaded bars, but i bought them anyway with fingers crossed. unfortunately, they really are too big for the threaded standard bar. what i did though is simply attach a somewhat thick zip tie through each one. now it works because the diameter of the clip is slightly smaller due to the zip tie. it looks a bit funky and sometimes i have to adjust the zip tie around so the clip will slide over the threads more easily, but once i've released the tension on the clip it holds my weights in place just fine. it's certainly not perfect, but it sure beats spending 2 or more minutes spinning those stupid spin lock collars every time i want to switch out my weights!! i know this is not an ideal fix, but i thought i would share how i rigged mine up to work for me in case it helps give you an idea of how to also make it work for you! i personally just absolutely refuse to use those spin lock collars anymore. i switch my weights up multiple times during most of my workouts and those spinners are way too time consuming. your muscles have frozen over by the time you've changed weights! lol

Do yourself a favor , go to your local sporting goods store and buy these . The product itself is great . But the shipping is terrible , took over a week to get them.

I purchased an EZ curl York bar at my local Sports store. The bar came with these goofy looking useless spin lock dolyes. I purchased these Bar clips instead and it’s the best purchase I’ve made for my gym equipment! No more plates falling off the bars! Thank you!

Not worth. Its fitting loose on my barbell rod as well as dumble rods. Complete waste of money
