Best reason for mornings to exist
I love this coffee. I've been buying it for years now. It is really close to my favorite from among local roasters but less than half the price. It's rich and warm and not bitter. The quality has been consistent. I'm not a coffee reviewer so I probably am not using the right terms but if you are on the fence, try it!

My absolute favorite coffee!
I've tried a lot of different coffees over the years. I started out drinking the free swill at work, but quickly outgrew that and branched out into brewing my own. I purchased a basic Melita pour-over and bought some of the local store brand ground coffee. It was better, but not great, even to my unrefined palate. I then tried some of the other generic name brand ground coffee, but found that all of it got bitter within a couple days of opening it. I bought vacuum canisters, but that only extended it's life to a week. So, I did some more research and decided to jump into the whole bean arena, since they last longer. I bought a decent burr grinder and some of the bulk imported beans at the grocery store. Much better flavor, but still...not great. I've since tried beans from several local roasters (some good, but inconsistent), coffee houses around the country (I travel a bit for work), and a plethora from Amazon as well, in my pursuit of perfection. I've found it remarkably difficult to find a coffee which is low in acidity and high in flavor. There have been a few, but they were either too expensive (real Kona & Jamaican Blue), or inconsistent between batches (local).Enter Koffee Kult. Wow! This is IT! Perfection! Low acidity, great earthy flavor, and smooth! I received an email the day it shipped, with instructions with optimal brewing for a number of different methods (I now use a Hario pour-over), which I was pleasantly surprised by. I also received a follow-up email several days later from the owner, asking how I was enjoying the coffee. I'm thoroughly impressed by both the quality of the coffee and the sincerity and care that the owner has for their customers. I couldn't be happier.I will be ordering another bag when this one runs out and will post an update, if the taste changes significantly.Update: It's still great after 2 more bags!

Coffee that is smooth and doesn't need creamer or sugar to hide the taste
I have drank coffee all around the world in 40 different countries, so when having to wakeup to go to work in some place you never heard, morning coffee has it value. Now that I am retired I still love great coffee and price doesn't matter, even though they went from 1 pound to 12 ounce's since the 70's but still charge you the same price.Well, I came upon this koffee kult brand, and read the reviews, since the name caught my curiosity, and it was in a pound bag. When it arrived the smell of it when opened was lovely. Put some in the grinder and started brewing which you could smell a wonderful aromma. I usually put sweet cream in my coffee because the name brands just don't taste good enough without due to the acid taste, we use zero filter water, but it doesn't help. This coffee was so smooth and I was shocked that it was so good without creamer. It was good enough that I had 2 cups, which are large cups hand made, and I usually have just one because of having to use the creamer. Now my wife wants to know if they make decaf koffee kult, which after sending the question, they do so I will be ordering some decaf for her. I ordered more a 2 pound bag of beans. This is the best coffee I have tasted since my travels around the world, and beats the top name brands on the market which I know you know the ones I am referring to. So don't let the name fool you and try some excellent tasting coffee that comes in a pound bag. You won't be disappointed and you will wakeup to a smooth tasty cup of coffee that will start your day.

Beautiful coffee base for mixing
Some might actually hate me, and I apologize to Koffee Kult before hand if I've ruined their fine blend. Without a doubt, this is a fine, fine coffee, I have drunk it on its own, black, no sugar, no milk and it's very good. However I've recently discovered, to my horror.... I'm a bean mixer. Don't hate me. Ok so regardless if it's just marketing, or that I'm a Hawaii resident but I loves me some Kona coffee, except drinking 100% Kona coffee everyday makes for some expensive coffee drinking. So just like everyone else I've been resorting to preground 10% mixes, which aren't usually that good tasting (that's why they resort to adding mac nut flavors, hazelnut flavors, vanilla flavors). Thus began my quest to roll my own Kona mix, and the first thing was to find a base coffee that I like. I'm not really a coffee aficionado, so I don't know how to describe why I prefer one coffee over another, (if you want a body, flavor, oilyiness, tastoid review others have made better reviews) but as that old saying goes: "I know it when I see (taste) it" with Koffee Kult I definitely taste it.Here is how I prepare my daily brews, I put in 4 to 5 grams of Kona beans and fill the rest with Koffee Kult beans to get 22 grams, I then grind the whole thing and in an aeropress aerobie using the upside down method; put water into the level 4 mark; let it soak for at least a minute before pressing (though more often than not it soaks for however long it takes me to complete my morning simpsons tapped out ritual). After that badaboom good cup of morning coffee. Koffee Kult on its own is very good, very good, and I do occasionally drink it on its own, however adding that little bit of Kona makes it... well it makes me feel like I'm not drinking (the excreting) gold every morning while still enjoying a very, very good cup of coffee.Koffee Kult's customer service is great, before I had even received the beans, they were already emailing me, I asked for aeropress tips they sent me a PDF with a whole bunch of different brewing methods. Note though, they send (and I'm paraphrasing/summarizing) a "thanks for the order email," a "hope you received it" email, a "if you've had a chance to try it please review it" email etc. Though unlike other vendors, who ask you to give a 5 star rating all they asked for was a review, and I'm quite happy to do that (see length of this one as proof), however if you don't like that amount of touchy feelyness, it could seem spammy. Now I'll go back to enjoying my morning coffee.
