Works great!
My key fob exterior had broken but the guts were fine. I got this in the mail and had my old guts in the new exterior in a matter of 3-4 minutes. It has a slightly different feel than my 10 year old original but works just fine. No issues at all!

Perfect fit!
No instructions but fairly easy to swap internals. First, open both the old and the new transmitter cases. Remove the battery (now's a good time to replace it). Use a small flat screwdriver to pry up the black plastic backing that held the battery. I inserted it between the gray/white rubber seal and the outer black case on the bottom and pried it out. Expect the buttons to fall out!Next, remove circuit board and insert it in to new rubber seal. Push top edge in to case then snap in bottom. Insert battery and test to make sure all buttons work. Everything ok? Snap cover on and put key ring on.You may want to transfer Honda logo from back of old case. Just heat it with a blow dryer and pry it up from edge. Use something pointy like a pin (I used the tip of a steak knife to get under logo). Once logo comes off, just press it on new case. Old glue on back of logo should hold just fine.Boom. Brand new transmitter case.

Decent replacement case and a great price, but it includes a tailgate remote button that my vehicle doesn't have
This is a decent replacement case -- seems quite durable after the first 30 days of use. The opening for the keyring is thicker than the OEM -- so the chances of that part breaking (like the OEM one did) seem lower.I used the parts compatibility guide to determine if this will work for my 2005 Honda Odyssey. The guide said it would indeed work for my vehicle. However, when I received the case (cases -- as I ordered 2 replacements for 2 broken ones), I quickly discovered that this case has a button for remote tailgate open/close -- which wasn't even an option for my '05 Odyssey. It still works...but the button for the remote tailgate is, obviously, non-functional. I don't have a problem with this as I was happy to save the money vs. paying for OEM case at the dealership...but when we go to sell the van someday, we'll have to explain to the buyer that there is NO remote tailgate lift. Not really a deal-breaker (I'd buy another one of these cases)...just something a little annoying that the product description / part compatibility guide did not indicate.

Exact fit, almost like the original.
The plastic frame broke when I was replacing a battery so I bought this replacement case and it was an exact fit. Easy to install.

Ignore Complaints, Product BETTER than OEM...
This key fob is exactly as advertised. It is a perfect replacement for the Honda OEM product and I'll go so far as to say that it's actually better than the OEM, using a higher quality, more durable ABS plastic. There seems to be two complaints about this key-fob replacement case that I keep seeing.1.) The pieces of the case don't fit/snap together.2.) If you try to remove the battery from it later, you'll break it trying to get the cover off.I understand why people think this is the case but it's just not true. What Honda owners have become accustomed to is the OEM key fob being very lightweight plastic that can come apart by using a coin (at the end of life, a finger nail).Let's be honest, the reason you bought this replacement was because your OEM was either dropped one too many times and the corners on the back were broken off or your keyring wore a hole through the top of it.That's the difference with this one; it's tough. It's not supposed to be easy to snap together or get apart. In order for me to get the back on, I had to lay it face down on the counter and apply even pressure with all my weight and it clicked together perfectly and securely. You can't snap this together with your fingers like you can with the junk OEM part BY DESIGN so don't even try.As for getting it off, again, it's not supposed to be an easy task in order to protect the components inside.Unlike the folks who reviewed this who accidentally bought the fob for the Odyssey with the liftgate, I made the mistake of buying the one that DIDN'T have the button for the liftgate and had to reorder this one. The product is identical with the exception of the hole and the additional button. So, while I waited for the replacement to arrive, I used the one designed for vehicles without the automatic liftgate. When I received the replacement, I at first had difficulty getting it open but I simply used a table knife, worked my way around the edge and it popped right off without a hitch. So, the complaints, as I see them, are due to user error and nothing more and are not reflective of any issues with the product. It should also be noted that if you do what many people did and that is to order this item by mistake instead of ordering the one with the blank spot where the hole/button would be, it really doesn't make any sense that you should have to modify this as many people have said they had to to cover the hole.It comes with all the buttons including the liftgate button to fill the hole.

Worked perfectly - 5 minute install
I ordered these for my daughters Odyssey van as one of hers was cracked and held together by tape. It literally took me 5 minutes to change the cases on both remotes. They fit great and she was thrilled with them. They don’t have the Honda logo on them, but who cares! Just change out the guts from the old remotes and you’re all set.

Definitely worth it.
Awesome replacement. I used a heat gun to remove my original Honda symbol on the original remote, and moved it onto this remote. It was a perfect fit. It's working great, and snapped into place perfectly.
