Highly recommended for Vanagon.
I have used these for the last 5 years of oil changes on our 1985 Vanagon camper as they were recommended by numerous owners, something to do with the way they hold oil pressure better. They have always arrived promptly in perfect condition and have never had any issues with them.

Great filter
This is a filter I use regularly for my '85 Westfalia van but usually I have to call all over to find one. I ordered this one & it arrived with no issues or problems & worked great!

Vanagon bypass valve pressure.
For Vanagon wbx, Mann 719/13 is the only oil filter left on the market that has the proper bypass valve pressure setting. Volkswagen dealers can't even order a genuine VW part oil filter for Vanagons anymore. Other manufacturers do list oil filters for Vanagon, and may look to fit OK, but they're Rabbit/Golf oil filters with bypass pressures that are too high.
