Ole Energy Drink,12 Pack

I'm about to make my 4th purchase of a case of these things. It's easily becoming one of my favorite energy drinks. It's got a nice balanced flavor that has enough of a tart/sour edge to compliment, rather than attempt to mask like most energy drinks, all of the naturally harsh and bitter tasting caffeine, vitamins, amino acids, etc. included in these things to give them their effect.It's also just about perfect in the sweetness department. Again, most energy drinks tend to overdo the sweetness in order to mask the reality that you are drinking a solution containing very bitter alkaloids. The taste of Olé instead uses sweet & sour notes to make the process of imbibing bitter drugs a more pleasant experience.

The package delivered today and I was looking forward to trying this after reading all the reviews. I couldn't open it at the time since I had to go to work. After a long day at the job I opened the box for a nice refreshing can of... 300ft of 12 gauge speaker wire? What?.... well that's disappointing. Was looking forward to the drink..... sweet... now I get to look forward to dropping off this package at a local ups. Thanks! I needed to go out of my way to do extra stuff to do anyway. OLE!**edit**Taste pretty good. Sour at first, kind of like sour apple, but then smooth. Updated my stars from 1 (due to wrong item, I couldn't give an honest opinion) to 4 stars.

If you like cough medicine than this is for you! Literally taste like cough meds. Frank one. Gave the rest to my employees. They also hated it.

Tried Olé energy drink to broaden my horizons. Tastes like Red Bull, same can size as Red Bull, doesn't really work just like Red Bull. Only has 80 mg of caffeine per can, so it doesn't pack much of a punch. If you're sensitive to caffeine, this may work for you, but anyone with any kind of tolerance isn't going to feel anything.

I bought this not quite knowing what to expect. Unlike some of the other "energy drinks" I've purchased on Amazon, this one not only tastes quite good, it actually put a little extra spring in my step. I'll be ordering more Ole Energy once I choke my way through some other stuff I made the misfortune of buying.The Good: FLAVOR! No cloying aftertaste!I can't express just how much I enjoyed the taste of this stuff. I will be ordering more.

The packaging and color design on the can is fantastic, particularly the black seal top. I really didn't like the taste, which I think is more sour/tart than Redbull. I saw that this was a recommended product for MATI energy drinks, and I really enjoy MATI's clean, crisp taste, but Ole is totally the opposite. Energy wise, Ole does the trick if you're not a caffeine junkie. This product is definitely not for me, especially with 27g of Sugars, but I can see how people can come to appreciate the taste.

I don't drink energy drinks for the "energy", I like the unique taste. This one is pretty unique. It taste to sweet tarts candy to me. Sweet, then a little sour, has a little bite. It does a have very, very faint rotten taste toward the end... Almost unnoticeable. There are subtle hints of a red bell flavor too. Doubt I would buy again in a case.
